REPORT OF ACTIVITIES COLOMBIANITOS YEAR 2010 INDEX 1. Letter of the President of the Board of Directors: Angela Patricia Janiot 2. Goals reached in 2,010 3. Financial Report 4. 2,010 News Dear friends of Colombianitos: This year, thanks to the wonderful support of the media and advertising agencies: “Initiative”, “Rep/Grey”, “Direktor Films” and audiovisual producing companies: “Rayos & Centellas”, “El Padrino Producciones”, “Sonica”, “Cinecolor”, “ZS Studios” and “Congo Films”, we are launching a new campaign in the most important media in the country to promote the Sponsorship Program thus helping directly many more of our Colombianitos. 326 sponsors have already experienced the beautiful and satisfying sense of support in helping one or more Colombianitos through the Sponsorship Program, and that is the reason we want to insist in our immense gratitude. Also, I want to take advantage of the recent massive presence of institutional media campaign on COLOMBIANITOS in newspapers, magazines, radio stations and television to request from you to tell your relatives and friends about your experience with the Organization and the Sponsorship Program and so encourage them to sponsor our boys and/or girls. We need the help of more generous people such as you, to take care of the education of one child. Only giving them the possibility of going to school, as well as investing their free time in activities that give them civic values such as sports (soccer, table tennis and chess), music, computers as also school coaching, we will attain their progress and also the progress of the country in reaching the future we dream. As it was so well explained by advertising expert, Mr. Jose Miguel Sokoloff, in the special edition of Semana magazine on ideas for a better country: “If each one of the almost 1 million one hundred families belonging to 5 and 6 strata would be in charge of the education of one additional child, Colombia could have many more professionals than the 174,000 who graduate each year in the country. “ I invite you to motivate your peers on the need to educate one child less fortunate than us. How to do it? By simply logging to our web page www.colombianitos.org and clicking on “Sponsor a Child”. We want to reach our goal of sponsoring all of the 3,500 children that are part of our Foundation. Up to now, only 310 children are receiving the support of caring people such as you. As our new campaing says ”a small donation changes the life of a child ……and yours” Hopefully, all of us united may reach our objective. Many, many thanks and our best wishes of well being in 2011.
