business spirit of Mr. Adolfo Zeppieri, who,
in 1953, started his own activities as an individual business. Over the following years
the development of the Company has spread gradually to all the constructions sectors,
with a steady growth.
The Company is specialized in constructing
of commercial sites, hospitals, residential
areas, industrial sites and road constructions
both for itself and also on behalf of third parties, thanks to its machinery, its equipment

The Directorate General of GRUPPO ZEPPIERI COSTRUZIONI
Srl is deeply convinced that, in order to achieve the business
success, it is necessary to realize an organization which aims
at a constant improvement of performances, focused on Clients
and, at the same time, able to consider the needs of all parties
involved, first of all the company Staff.
The basic Principles which inspired the planning of the Quality
Management System of GRUPPO ZEPPIERI COSTRUZIONI Srl
are the Quality Management Principles which underlie the current
international regulations about quality, namely:
1) Client-oriented organization - GRUPPO ZEPPIERI COSTRUZIONI depends on its Clients; therefore, the Group shall understand their present and future needs, meet their requirements
and exceed their expectations;
2) Leadership – The Directorate and every person with coordination responsibilities shall establish, along with their own collaborators, the unity of purpose and goals. Only in this way the full involvement of the Staff in the pursuit of initial quality goals is achieved;
3) Staff involvement – Staff, at all levels, is the main re source of
GRUPPO ZEPPIERI COSTRUZIONI, and its full involvement allows
to offer the company the ability and creativity of each employee;
4) Organizational approach based on processes – all expected
results and initial goals can be achieved more efficiently if resources and activities are managed like a process;
5) Management systemic approach - Identifying, understanding
and managing the interconnected business processes like a
single system contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of
GRUPPO ZEPPIERI COSTRUZIONI in the pursuit of its goals;

The aforementioned Principles are concretely implemented by
GRUPPO ZEPPIERI COSTRUZIONI, through the pursuit of the

dissatisfaction;
- Periodical re-examination of the Quality Management System
according to available data and information collected;
- Evaluation of suppliers before establishing any relationship
with them;
To this purpose, a quality management system has been outlined and implemented. This system is based on the development and strengthening of Business Resources,
considering the Quality Responsible as the best resource to
involve that company structure at all levels.
The Directorate commits itself to identifying instruments, procedures, techniques and human resources which are necessary
to achieve the quality objectives, by carrying out the following
activities:
Identification, for each function, of measurable quality objectives
to be achieved within the given time limit;
Outline of Improvement Plans by each Business Function;
Introduction of a system for the documentation of the Processes which affect quality;
Systematic research of Clients’ satisfaction degree;
Training of all Staff in the acquisition of techniques in order to
obtain, control, measure and improve quality;
Defining and allocating responsibilities; Making individuals responsible for work quality.
When taking up the organization according to a Quality Management System, this Directorate is aware that a better quality, estimated in the medium-long term, will not result in higher
costs, but in great economies, and it will lead the company to
strengthen its position on the market.
In order to pursue the continuous improvement, the Directorate also commits itself to studying, elaborating and carrying out
every work strategy and technique which is considered necessary and aims at increasing the work quality and, therefore, the
wellbeing of all employees and Clients of GRUPPO ZEPPIERI

The Directorate General of GRUPPO ZEPPIERI
COSTRUZIONI Srl strongly believes that a business organization which aims at a constant performance improvement will produce significant
advantages for the organization itself and for all
parties involved.
Since 2012, the Directorate General of GRUPPO
ZEPPIERI COSTRUZIONI Srl has also decided to
manage and reduce the impacts generated by
environmental problems caused by the Group’s
activity, following sustainable development criteria and, therefore, meeting the requirements for
the environmental protection and improvement,
considering these principles as fundamental for
the success of the Group and its Clients’.
For these reasons, GRUPPO ZEPPIERI COSTRUZIONI Srl is deeply aware of its own responsibilities towards the environment (nature
and society), and it mainly aims at protecting the
environment, in line with the activities carried out,
and at paying particular attention to the aspects
which could affect the environmental matrices.
To this end, the Directorate General has developed an Environmental Management System
(EMS) in compliance with the standard UNI EN
ISO 14001:2004, in order to constantly monitor
the overall environmental performances of the
activities carried out, and improve and reduce,
when possible, the significant environmental impacts, always choosing the best technologies
available and economically practicable.
In fact, GRUPPO ZEPPIERI COSTRUZIONI Srl
commits itself to observing the environmental regulations in force, and the adoption of a certified
management system facilitates the Group in the
fulfilment of its obligations as provided for by the
same regulations, allowing to carry out estimates
about pollution prevention with relation to the activities carried out and the processes related to
GRUPPO ZEPPIERI COSTRUZIONI Srl.
The company’s environmental management is
based on the following principles:
- The Company, along with all its employees,
shall pay particular attention to issues concerning
environmental protection and shall commit to
complying with all laws and regulations;
- Involvement of our partners in the awareness of
environmental issues and in the achievement of
the improvement goals;
- Selection of our suppliers according to qualitative guarantees of materials or work carried out, in
line with the environmental sustainability:

according to the standard BS OHSAS
18001 (Occupational Health and Safety
Assessment Series), is an instrument that
allows the management of issues related
to company safety, through the formulation
of specific goals and policies according to
any occupational dangers and risks. The
standard defines the correct plan of the
safety conditions, in order to guarantee a
“sound” business management and the
compliance with the mandatory regulations. “Occupational health and safety are
a commitment for everybody, which manifests itself not only in the respect of safe
and correct behaviour while carrying out
one’s work, but also in the constant research for more suitable conditions so that
they can be achieved”. Gruppo Zeppieri
Costruzioni Srl believes that increasing the
culture related to occupational health and
safety and further improve safety, health
and risk prevention levels in the work activity is very important. For these reasons,
the Directorate General decided to implement an Occupational Health and Safety
Management System in compliance with
the standard OHSAS 18001 within its own
business management.
The System’s policy is a fundamental point
of reference for all employees and those
(external) who have business relationship
with the company. The policy expresses
the business mission as regards occupational health and safety, from which
continuous goals and improvement plans
originate.
The Directorate, in collaboration with
RSPP, RLS and Medico Competente, laid
down and formalized a document which
expresses the company’s commitment
to protecting workers’ health and safety,
starting from the applicable regulations
in force, from occupational risks and the
accidents that took place, in order to promote and spread the culture of safety and
protect
the health of the whole staff, by constantly
monitoring the System to ascertain if it is in
line with the initial goals.
This document was drawn up in accordance with the company’s reality and requirements, and it can be modified during each
re-examination of the System.
The Directorate presents this document
and gives it to all the company subjects,
committing itself so that:
1) Since the phase in which new activities
are planned, or during the revision of the
existing ones, aspects related to safety
prevent pollution of the different environmental matrices.
The companies believes that it will succeed in enforcing these principles in its daily activities, and it
will take advantage in terms of management of the environmental aspects and image.
In this connection, we point out that, beyond the specific responsibilities laid down in the document of the Environmental Management System (EMS), the whole staff of the company is responsible of the achievement of the aforementioned goals. In particular, GRUPPO
ZEPPIERI COSTRUZIONI Srl plans to raise, in its employees, an increasing attention towards
environmental protection, through information meeting and periodical training and audit activities.
The EMS and, therefore, all instruments introduced with it, will be periodically examined in order to ascertain its adequacy and effectiveness, through periodical exams of the results that will
be systematically collected and processed, but also through direct verifications. Therefore, the
company expects that every employee, at any level, will concretely contribute to improve the Environmental Management System, by promptly pointing out any malfunctioning and inefficiencies.

and financial resources for the full divulgation of the present policy and for the achievement of the
initial goals as well as the environmental plan that is necessary to enforce this policy.
