Spring is in the air and as we look forward to warmer temperatures, I would like to welcome
everyone to another season at Forsgate Country Club. We have a calendar full of events for you
to enjoy with family and friends this year. New monthly additions such as First Friday Forsgate
will feature live music in our newly renovated grille, now dubbed the Gatenby Grill, on the first
Friday of each month. Our yearlong KidsClub will be a series of family-friendly, kid-centric events
like the upcoming Princess Party, and Superhero breakfast scheduled for May, and of course, the
continuation of our famous Holiday Brunch for Easter and Mother’s Day. Information on these and
all our events can be found in Traditions magazine as well as on our website, www.forsgatecc.com.
I would like to take a moment to thank Golf Course Superintendent Tom Saunders. After 34 years at Forsgate, Tom
has decided to move on to pursue other endeavors in the golf industry. Tom’s many positive contributions throughout
the years have helped shape Forsgate into the fine Club it is today. Tom will be sorely missed and we wish him
continued success in this new chapter in his professional career.
As always, I thank you for your continued support of the Club. It is our goal to improve your experiences year over
year. I look forward to seeing you and your families at the Club.

We will be once again hosting the AJGA (American Junior
Golf Association) here at Forsgate on May 6, 7 and 8 on
our Palmer Course. The AJGA is the largest Junior tour in
the world and the likes of Jordan Speith, Phil Michelson,
Paula Creamer, Morgan Pressel, NJ’s own Morgan Hoffmann and MANY more have competed on this tour! We
hope you will come out and watch these upcoming stars
