Greetings and Welcome to the 17th Biennial Meeting “Spring in St
 Greetings and Welcome to the 17th Biennial Meeting
“Spring in St. Louis--Gateway to RAMSCA”
Spring in St. Louis is the Gateway to RAMSCA. The 17th biennial meeting is planned for you to
renew many old/young friendships, welcome new members, stay connected to the active AMSC
and see the most beautiful city on the Mississippi River. The Gateway Arch is just a stone’s
throw from the Missouri Athletic Club. There will be time to enjoy this beautiful historic hotel;
tour the National Archives where your military history is held; visit and shop the Missouri
Botanical Garden; tour the city; dine at wonderful ethnic restaurants and learn the history of this
great state. Most of all, we will renew the goals of RAMSCA, install new leaders and have fun.
This is our chance to see each other again, meet new members, hear the updates on the Corps
activities, and strengthen RAMSCA. Remember RAMSCA membership is open to all present,
former, Reserve and National Guard and retired AMSC officers so invite your friend to join.
The Board of Directors meeting is held all day Thursday. You are welcome to attend and learn
the business of your organization. Don’t be afraid to step up and get active in the organization.
The planning committee has worked diligently to arrange the activities for our enlightenment and
enjoyment and also provide plenty of time to just visit and renew. Don’t miss this great event.
Beat the winter blues with a trip to St. Louis in the Spring. I look forward to seeing everyone
again or meeting you for the first time.
Karen P. Hobson
