The IRONCLAD system complements any alarm system, as well as integrates with CCTV camera system.
The IRONCLAD sensor is unique in its ability to protect the areas surrounding the site where there is high or thick
vegetation that does not allow installation of line of sight detector (Beams, PIR).
The sensor cable is armored and protected from small animals bite or tear due to continuous friction.
The IRONCLAD is installed outside connected to a local analyzer unit on the perimeter line.

 What does the kit include?
The Ironclad Kit includes at least a sensor cable in the length of choice, End line resistor pre-installed on the cable
and LPU303 (The analyzer) in a weather proof enclosure.
 How is the Ironclad system connect? And to where?
Each analyzer has 2 dry contacts relay outputs NO/NC, those outputs can be connected to ANY alarm system,
CCTV system or any other system that can accept dry contact input such as sirens, strobe lights and even fire alarms.
 How much fence can i cover with the Ironclad sensor?
The Ironclad sensor cable comes in spools of 250ft (75m), 500ft (150m) and 1000ft (300m).
Each Analyzer can control up to 2 zones which means the largest perimeter that can be covered with
1 kit is 2000ft (600m). In order to cover larger perimeter you can combine as many kits as you would
need to cover the whole fence line.
 Can the sensitivity of the sensor be adjusted?
Sure! The system has 11 levels of sensitivity that can be adjusted easily with dipswitches,
no need for software, laptop or any knowledge.
 Does the system needs any calibration before I can use it?
No, the Ironclad system is self-calibration, it is a plug and play system that requires power,
inputs and outputs to be connected and it’s working!
 Does wind or rain can cause false alarms?
The way the Ironclad system works: It detects only sharp frequency vibrations that are generated by cutting,
climbing or jumping the fence. Vibration cause by wind, rain and small animals are usually
long wave vibrations that would not be picked up by the system.
It's the difference between tapping/shaking the fence which will get detected to pushing on the fence like the wind that won' t.
On top of that we have an optional weather station that is able to feed the analyzer with
real time information about the weather around it and compensate on the wind and rain to give even
higher level of assurance of filtering out false alarms.

 Does the weather station lower the sensitivity to avoid false alarms?
No, the weather station adds another variable into the algorithm of detection.
It does NOT just lower sensitivity to avoid false alarms.
 Can the cable be shortened?
Yes, the cable can be cut to size.
On one end of the cable the end of line resistor installed but on the other it's open and is cut to fit the fence length.
 Can the cable be installed on Sliding gate or Swing gate?
On swing gates the cable can't be installed as it might shorten the life span of the cable,
the cable would have to bypass the gate by a conduit under the gate.
On swing gates the cable can be installed but we would recommend installing it only on gates that are rarely used
so the cable won't break on the bending point of the gate from frequent opening and closing of the gate.
 Do we need to change to another cable to bypass a gate?
No, As long as the conduit is water proof the sensor cable can be put into the conduit directly
and by pass the gate and continue on the fence line on the other side.
 If the cable is cut can it repaired?
Yes! Repairing the cable is a 30 second process, RBtec offer a repair kit that uses as extension and junction box.
The box will be installed in the cut area, the sensor cable would go into the screw terminals on both sides of the repair box
and the system is back up and running.
