celebrate. But, from sprucing up the house to planning a menu, baking to
roasting, entertaining can shift quickly from a winter wonderland to an
overwhelming undertaking. So, rather than making it all from scratch, start with
delicious appetizers that require only minutes in the oven or microwave, a simple
call to our Catering Department, or just a few dollops and dashes to prepare.

A Cure for
Everything
Cured meats couldn't be more in demand right now, and Metropolitan Market
is proud to be the Pacific Northwest's exclusive purveyor of one of the best
brands in Italy: Levoni. Since 1911, Levoni has produced the highest quality meat
in Northern Italy. There, they raise the pigs, manage the butchering, process the
meat, and age it to perfection in-house. Welcome to the delicious land of Levoni.
5. San Daniele Prosciutto: Produced in
accordance with the DOP San Daniele
Prosciutto Consortium production
standards, fresh legs are carefully
selected for 16-20 months of aging. Red
and rosy slices are laced with silky white
fat woven throughout. The prosciutto has
an intense aroma with a delicate taste
and an aftertaste of almonds and nuts in
legs that are aged longer than others.
6. Mortadella: Called "The Ferrari of
Bologna," Levoni has been producing
Mortadella for more than 100 years with
their signature recipe.
Cheese and charcuterie are beloved platter pals, but don't forget
the balancing act of it all: A relish tray. Mix it up with a trip to our

Raise a glass of a little sparkling
something as we say goodbye
to 2015 and hello to a brand new

Vinified in the traditional methode champenoise,
these are some of the finest sparkling wines
outside of the Champagne region. The 100%
Pinot Noir Brut Rose sparkler offers notes of
strawberries and cherries, creamy textures,
and crisp acidity. The Brut is a blend of Pinot
Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Riesling with complexity,
elegance, and balance.

Center
Stage
A great holiday dinner centers around a beautifully prepared centerpiece,
and the best meals start with a trip to Metropolitan Market's Meat
Department. Our naturally raised, highest grade meats are thoughtfully
raised and carefully selected by our experts before they make their way to
your home. All you have to do is decide which succulent selection is the best
fit, follow our recipes or pick out your prepared meal, and enjoy. Bon appétit!
Prime Picks
Your prime choice for flavor this season is our exclusive rime
rib, available in custom cuts from wet-aged to dry-aged,
prime to wagyu. Our meat will meet or beat your favorite
steakhouse.
Dry-Aged: Our all-natural, dry-aged USDA Choice beef
comes from cattle raised in the Pacific Northwest, free of
antibiotics and hormones. With age, roasts become supple
and tender, gaining a remarkable depth of flavor.
Naturally Raised: Our signature naturally raised beef is wetaged under strict guidelines, then expertly trimmed by our
seasoned butchers. Expect tender, rich meat that will truly
make its mark as the centerpiece to an unforgettable meal.

Ham It Up
Kurobuta Ham: We’re crazy for Kurobuta ham, which comes from purebred
Berkshire hogs. Highly marbled and deeply flavored, you’ll never go back to
that mail-order brand again.
Slow-growing Kurobuta pigs produce meat that’s juicier, with a beautiful, dark
color, and firm texture. Then, our natural smoking process brings out a subtly
sweet flavor. Pick up a whole or half ham, boneless or bone-in.
Kurobuta Half-Ham Dinner: Reserve one of our signature smoked hams along
with all the fixings . It's available to reserve in the Deli or online at metropolitanmarket.com/holidays by 12/21 with pickup in stores through 1PM on 12/24.

bring in a selection of the freshest oysters to help you celebrate, with Hama

Super smooth and intensely punchy, these luxurious
mustards are ideal for everything from crusting lamb, to
serving on a charcuterie and cheese board.
Violet: Despite what its name might imply, there are no
flowers in this mustard, which is raisiny sweet thanks to the
inclusion of Cabernet Sauvignon grape must.
Espelette: Spicy red peppers from the Basque region of
France are blended up wtih cider vinegar and mustard
seed, giving it a fruity finish.
Black Truffle: Silky mustard takes a lux turn with black
truffle and truffle aroma.

stop. Our ducks are free-range and raised with plenty of room to explore
California’s great outdoors. We carry whole ducks, as well as duck breasts

Grown locally and picked at the peak of freshness, the Holiday Pear is
the sweetest, creamiest pear you’ll ever eat. These sugar-rich fruits are so
creamy and mouth-watering, you can eat them with a spoon!
Share Your Pears
With seven pounds of perfect
pears, the Holiday Pear
Gift Box makes a great gift.
Conditioned to the peak
level of sweetness, a box of
these beauties is the original,
thoughtful gift every food
lover will be happy to receive.
Handle It
Delicate and sweet, the
Holiday Pear bruises easily, so
it’s important to take care of
your pear! Once home, check
the neck to determine if it's
ready to eat. Gently press the
area near the stem, looking
for a little softness. Hold onto
that ripeness for up to 5 days
in the fridge, so it's ready to
eat when you are.
