ALT-254 designed, developed, and delivered
a new concept store in Hong Kong for the
Japanese fashion brand EVISU. The Store
located in New Town Plaza, Sha Tin has been
specifically designed to display EVISU’s new
line of clothing. Simple materials and bold colors
allow the store to reflect EVISU’s design ethos.

ALT-254 was asked to do the conceptual
design and the branding for a new Retail
store located in Belfast, UK. REAL will sell
a series of their own high-end fashion and
accessories to home wares and antique
furniture. A simple and refined design the
store remains flexible with the display units
(designed by ALT) able to move and adapt
to the changing product arrangement.
The Branding remains simple, REAL
acts as icon for simplicity and quality.

MAISON ULLENS

Located on 4 Rue de Marignan, around the
corner from Avenue Montaigne and in the
midst of the luxury fashion powerhouses, the
first flagship store of Maison Ullens deliberately
favours exclusivity and intimacy.
The use of materials within the store is inspired
by Maison Ullens’ innovative application of
materials for their fashion products. The store
employs a careful choice of finishes: marble,
leather, teak, terrazzo and brass build the tactile
qualities of the store, at the same time making
reference to French history and craftsmanship,
including the molding leather details of typical
French interiors of the Haussmann period. In
the windows at the façade, porous wooden
curtains, custom designed and handmade
by the artist Elisa Strozyk, are applied.
The store also features specific locations
for the display of art. The art pieces bring
into the shop a moment of surprise and
reveal the muse of the brand owners.

Utime Fitness Studios
Location: Kennedy Town, Hong Kong
Size: 4500 ft2

Status: Completed
ALT was commissioned to design a 450m2
flagship studio for the global company Utime
Fitness. The irregular layout of the space
required us to take an unconventional approach
by placing the reception and welcoming area
right in the middle of the space instead of next
to the entrance door. A dark wooden carpet
guides the costumers inside to a circular
reception desk emphasizing its centrality.
The studio is located in Kennedy Town, Hong
Kong, was opened in mid-August 2015.
