price quote that included the General Motors Government Bid Assistance program
price which provides government agencies discounted vehicle pricing that is similar
to
the
California
Multiple
Award
At the
request
Schedule ( CMAS)
pricing
guidelines.

StafF, Steves Chevrolet/ Buick has

configurations. June 23, 2016 is the cutoff date Steves Chevrolet will be taking final
orders to build the 2016 model year vehicle with the required specifications and
configurations to meet Public Works fleet needs. Any orders received after June 23,
2016
will
be for the 2017
model
year and
prices.
To take advantage of the 2016
model year special pricing Staff will need to submit the order prior to the 2016
model year cutoff date. Factory delivery can take up to ten weeks after placing the
order and arrival
date is
estimated at
the
end of
July
2016.

APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF FIVE ( 5) REPLACEMENT CITY VEHICLES
FROM STEVES CHEVROLET/ BUICK INC. FOR PUBLIC WORKS
PARKS, STREETS, AND UTILITY MAINTENANCE
WHEREAS, two 2005 Chevrolet Silverado trucks assigned to Public Works for
Park and Utility maintenance that have reached their maximum life expectancy and
need
to be
replaced;
and
WHEREAS, one 2007 Chevrolet Silverado truck assigned to Public Works for
Park maintenance that has reached its maximum life expectancy and need to be
replaced;
and
WHEREAS, two 2008 Chevrolet Silverado trucks assigned to Public Works for
Park and Street maintenance that have reached their maximum life expectancy and
