SUNDAY Afternoon, June 26, 2016 One Hour after end of Obedience Trial until 7:00 pm $5.00 for five minutes of individual ring time. Group stays (at no additional charge) after approximately every 10 dogs. We will have two rings in use at the same time, each with a timer. Labor to set up the rings will have to come from the exhibitors themselves. You must provide your own “judge” if you want one. Sign-up sheets will be available Sunday at noon near the obedience & rally rings. You can sign up immediately prior to the match, if there is time available. Time will be reserved on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. You may not use consecutive time slots. For example, if you want 15 minutes, you must sign up in five-minute increments, allowing someone else to have a turn before you repeat. WE QUIT AT 7:00 PM SHARP. You pay no fee until you are ready to have the ring set up (jumps, no jumps, correct heights, etc.). Your five minutes begin when you and your dog walk into the ring. You may use your five minutes to do runthroughs, exercises or parts of exercises, play, train or stays. Any regular or non-regular classes can be run-through. Verbal praise, corrections and gentle guiding are allowed (Harsh corrections are not allowed). Food, toys & training aids are allowed, but you must pick up any food dropped on the mats. The following breeds must be judged on a ramp through all levels of conformation competition: Sussex Spaniels, Basset Hounds, Bulldogs, Chinese Shar-Pei and Chow Chows. This extends to all conformation competition at AKC conformation dog shows and any AKC event where a conformation title may be earned. This policy includes Group, BIS, Junior Showmanship, the 4–6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition, the AKC National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS), and all other special attractions that offer Group and BIS competitions. Ramps can be used in emergency situation to judge any breed. In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund. For the judging of juniors the ramp may be used at the discretion of the judge for the ramp optional breeds. (01/2016) BEST BRED BY EXHIBITOR COMPETITION – SUNDAY ONLY Best Bred by Exhibitor will be awarded from the First Place winners in the Bred by Exhibitor classes immediately following each breed. If the Best of Breed is awarded to a dog/bitch coming from a Bred by Exhibitor Class for that breed, the Best Bred by Exhibitor win is automatic. Best Bred by Exhibitor Group judging will take place in a ring adjacent to the regular Group ring. First through Fourth Place in each Group will be awarded, with the Group Winner going on to Best Bred by Exhibitor in Show. Judges for Best Bred by Exhibitor in Breed will be as published for the regular classes. Bred by Exhibitor Group and Best Bred by Exhibitor in Show judges will be announced on the judging program. Best Bred by Exhibitor in Show will be judged following Best in Show judging. * Provisional FIVE VALLEY KENNEL CLUB • JUNE 2016 • 11 CATALOG ADVERTISING DEADLINE: MAY 15, 2016 Full Page / 1 Photo........................................................................................................$50.00 Full Page / NO photo.....................................................................................................$40.00 Half Page.......................................................................................................................$25.00 Quarter Page.................................................................................................................$15.00 Please send copy with check to: Ann Deister 33411 Allison Road, St. Ignatius, MT 59865 [email protected] – cell: 740-398-2664 Make checks payable to: Five Valley Kennel Club, Inc.
