Meet your leader Ian K. Segebarth is a member of the Holbrook Travel team in product development. An avid naturalist, photographer, scuba instructor, and adventurer, Ian holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Florida. Since then he has traveled extensively and led trips to more than 28 countries including South and Central America, Africa, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and Antarctica. Ian loves to share his passion for natural history and is happy to provide photography advice during his travels. NOVEMBER 15 | Tingo Maria This morning meet for breakfast and then walk to the airport for the domestic flight to Tingo Maria. Upon arrival transfer to Villa Jennifer Hotel. Afternoon visit to nearby site to look for butterflies. Overnight at Villa Jennifer Hotel. (BLD) NOVEMBER 16 | Tingo Maria This morning after breakfast check out and continue to Quebrada Honolulo. Targets include Morpho didius, M. adonis, M. patroclus, Agrias claudina, A. beata, various Callicore, Marpesia, and others. Box lunch during collecting. Continue to check in at Montaña Garden Hotel. Overnight at Montaña Garden Hotel. (BLD) NOVEMBER 19 | Tingo Maria Full day visit to Aucayacu town for butterfly collecting. Box lunch. Overnight at Montaña Garden Hotel. (BLD) NOVEMBER 20 | Tingo Maria After breakfast, check out and return to Tingo Maria with butterfly collecting en route through Rondos Village. Packed lunch in field. Check in at Villa Jennifer Hotel. Overnight at Villa Jennifer Hotel. (BLD) NOVEMBER 21 | Lima Return flight to Lima in the morning. Lunch at local restaurant. Enjoy an afternoon city tour to see a few highlights of Lima, ending at Huaca Pucllana ruins for a farewell dinner. Overnight at Casa Andina Select. (BLD) NOVEMBER 22 | Departure Transfer to the airport for departure flights.
