PIP AHOY!
This summer we take to the seas with Pip. We take an Old Dutch V.O.C. trade-route and stop at the most exotic ports. The prints for coming
season are in fact inspired by the boat trip Pip made to the Far East. You can see this reflected in both the colours and the designs.
HERBS, TILES AND NEW COLOURS
Back in the Netherlands, Pip could not wait to incorporate her impressions from the trip into her new collection. You can see the colours,
the flowers, the old tile patterns, the monkey and even the beetles appear in the new summer line. There are now seven new designs. The
colourful Hummingbirds design has elements such as the monkey, cherries and nutmeg from Pips logbook. Pip Studio has made this design
not only into bedding but also into wonderful towels. They are available in white, light blue, soft pink and green.
The Mixed up tiles design shows a pattern of several tiles with a gradient of blue tones to cayenne red. Living tiles is unmistakably VOC: a
gorgeous print of flowers on a tiled tableau. Available in red, the reverse is light blue. Lacy Dutch Has authentic ship features, typical Dutch
tulips, swans, trumpets and a dog cart. The reverse side is lace like. Lacy Dutch comes in white-pink and white-blue.
LINEN
The other new designs are Counting sheep, with its peaceful rural scene and grazing sheep, the fresh and fruity, Feeling fruity design, and finally
the stylishly embroidered Pip Lacy. Through the consistent use of colour all the designs in this collection combine with each other beautifully.
In all these collections, quality is paramount. Each item is beautifully finished and made of high quality materials. Pip Studio works with
the finest cotton percale, which thanks to the weave of the material is always smooth and cool to the touch; therefore it is ideal in summer.
New this season is the use of a flexible and extra light linen-cotton blend.
This season Pip Studio adds new quilts, soft velour bathrobes and large beach towels to its product range. The brand new bed and bath
collection from Pip Studio is available from mid-January 2016; it is sold in high-end department stores and from linen specialists. Prices range
from € 4.95 for a washcloth to € 79.95 for a quilt. The collection is also available on Pips own website www.pipstudio.com.
