De ProMedia Ultra 2.0 is ontworpen om zonder subwoofer prestaties te leveren uit 2 satellieten alsof er wel een
subwoofer was. De 2.0 is eenvoudig mee te nemen en is bedoeld voor mensen, die niet willen inleveren op kwaliteit,
maar wel prijs stellen eenvoud. De 2.0 laat zich gemakkelijk aansluiten op iPod’s, MP3 spelers, walkmans TV’s, CD
spelers en laptop computers. Het signaal van bv. de computer laat zich gemakkelijk mengen met dat van bv een MP3
spelers en over de luidsprekers weergeven. Op een van de satellieten bevindt zich de volumeregelaar, een aparte
regelaar voor het laag en een ingang voor een extra geluidsbron.

the 10” high satellites have superior imaging, crisp and detailed high to midrange response and
surprisingly good bass. The faithfully reproduced the airiness of Jeff Buckley’s “Hallelujah” and the
detailed sound field on DVD’s like the “The Fifth Element”.
www.about.com: All in all, these satellite speakers are just about the best you're going to find at any
price. And of course, Klipsch's name backing them up means you won't have to worry about your
warranty or the speakers falling apart on you. Sound-wise, the Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 2.0 is extremely
competitive with anything available on the market at the moment, and at just under $100 for the set,
you'd be hard-pressed to find anything of comparable quality for the same price. In short, if you don't
want a 5.1 or 6.1 system or don't have the space for one, and you care about audio quality, the ProMedia
Ultra 2.0 is a system that we can enthusiastically recommend. Just remember to measure your workspace
before you buy.

www.pcdc.com: Klipsch has taken the essence of audiophile sound and shrunk it down to size. As in big
boy’s hi-fi, the Ultra 2.0 is an honest system. If you feed it junk, you will listen to junk … as I discovered
when I hooked it up to a less than savoury portable VCD player. Hook it up to a laptop or a Sony

Discman, however, and it becomes close your eyes and strum air guitar time.
So, is the Ultra 2.0 the perfect sound system? Almost but not quite. For
starters, bassheads aren’t going to be charmed by its lack of punch. Then
there’s the fact (acknowledged by Klipsch) that the Ultra 2.0 is voiced for
near field only, which means if you happen to step out of its narrow range,
all that rich musicality literally disappears. Lastly, there’s that green power
LED. When on, there’s no need for a night-light as it’s bright enough to let
you read in the dark.

and games. In every instance the system was both dynamic and comfortable. The older Klipsch systems
sounded good, but the 2.1s are probably the best sounding desktop speaker that I have used.
(Before the breakdown, I must say that the 2.1s are obscenely powerful. The claimed wattage is
definitely not exaggerated. I have only turned the volume beyond the halfway point twice, and both times
were to prove a point. You will not find a more powerful system no matter how hard you look.)
The highs were extremely coherent and flat; they lacked any of the sizzly distortion often present in
desktop speakers. This was true even at unreasonably high levels.

afgeleverd. Uitgepakt en aan m'n mp3-speler gehangen blijkt er het
verwachte geluid uit te komen.Wij gaan hiervan genieten.

Ik vind het geweldige speakers, klein, compact en meer dan voldoende

www.heyus.net: If I had to sum up the GMX A-2.1 in a single sentence, it would most likely be 'One of the
best sets of stereo speakers I've ever heard'. For audio from two-channel sources, it's hard to imagine
Klipsch's offering being beaten (particularly in the price range in question), the entire listening
experience is an absolute pleasure and is genuinely all but impossible to fault. Be it CD or MP3, almost
every track I listened to was given a new lease of life by the rich and colourful sound produced. it's the
kind of experience that makes you want to revisit every corner of your music collection.
www.maximumpc.com: In testing, the one thing that stuck out about these speakers is how big the sound
is considering it’s a 2.1 system. When cranking them up you feel as if you need to take a few steps back
to really appreciate the quality and quantity of rich, luscious audio washing over you. Sound is projected
extremely well, making for a sweet spot the size of Montana (they called during testing actually, told us
to turn it down). The subwoofer peters out a bit at maximum volume, but sounds deep without being
boomy at rational listening levels. Klipsch has won our hearts again with the A-2.1. We’re not too happy
about the control pod, but they sound so good it almost doesn’t matter.
www.gamers-depot.com: Overall, we have to say that the A2.1 system brings about one of the best, if not
the best, 2-channel listening experience we’ve had with ANY multimedia speaker system. If you’re in the
market for a 2-channel system – please- do yourself a huge favor, and don’t bother buying any other 2channel system out there; they all fail in comparison to the A2.1.

Tom’s Hardware Guide: When listening, you immediately notice a strong, dynamic bass that contributes
considerably to the good impression received. In fact, in the case of many types of music, you need to
turn it down a little in order to get a reasonable balance. The medium-range speaker produces a tone that
is one of the best among the multimedia systems on offer. So there is complete satisfaction on this
point. Overall, the GMX is a very musical system to be recommended, particularly for the most
demanding listeners. The possible sound level is high but - in our opinion - adequate for normal use,
even if some others are louder. The bass does not seem to be lacking in any way, even though, compared

www.exhardware.com: While many have complained about a midrange suckout on the Klipsch V2.400
speakers, the Promedia 2.1s with their updated crossovers didn't seem to have that problem anymore.
The best way to evaluate the midrange quality would be to use music with lots of vocals. Holly Cole, my
favorite Canadian jazz diva went into the CD spinner and the Klipsch Promedia 2.1s presented her vocals
in an absolutely breathtaking manner - clear, full of emotion and just so unrestrained. I've heard better
from entry level hi-fi setups but bear in mind that the Klipsch Promedia 2.1s are multimedia speakers and
that they cost only a fraction of what a pair of good bookshelf speakers, a good quality integrated
amplifier, cd player and cables would cost.
I was disappointed with the overenthusiastic bass of the Altec Lansing ADA890s for music but the bass
on the Promedia 2.1 was completely different. The subwoofer of the Promedia 2.1 gets 130Ws of RMS
power, that's more than twice the power of the ADA890 sub at 60Ws. The result of such power? The bass
was without a doubt, very powerful and very very deep. Despite that, it remained controlled and perfectly
suited the music - the Promedia 2.1s are quite possibly the best sounding multimedia speakers with
music I've heard to date.
