A boat cruise typically takes about 1 or 2 hours and runs up the Tonle Sap river along the central riverfront area providing a photographic view of the Royal Palace and Phnom Penh skyline. Here is list of companies that organizes boat tours: • Kanika Boat: (a) sunset cruise (5:00pm - 6:20pm) costs $7 for cruise fee only, • Tara Boat: (a) Sunset (5:00pm - 7:00pm costs $26. (b) Silk Island (8:00am - 3:00pm) costs $39. • Boat (in front of KFC): free ride (5:00pm-6:00pm) with any food purchase. Dance Performance Cambodian Living Art (Plae Pakaa) Offers a traditional dance show, live music and the arts in the splendid gardens of the National Museum of Phnom Penh. The group Monodok Komar Bassac Performing Arts has a variety of Cambodian classical and folk dances which presents not only elegant Apsara but also many more. The performance is 6 times per week, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday which start at 17:00pm. Standard ticket costs $15 for adult and $6 for child, and Premium ticket costs $25 for adult and $15 for child, includes a complimentary Krama, Water and VIP seating. Gift Shop open Monday to Saturday – 8.00am to 12:00pm & 2.00pm to 9.00pm. Khmer Boxing Is one of favourite things to do on a quiet day in Phnom Penh. Khmers are proud of their history and will inform you that Kun Khmer (also known as Pradal Serey). It dates back to the ninth century, when soldiers in the Khmer Empire used their skills in battle with punches and kicks, elbows and knees. Meanwhile, you can go to see a kickboxing by friendly tuk tuk driver on every Friday from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at BayonTV (Steung Meanchy) and on every Saturday (CTN station) and Sunday (BayonTV Steung Meanchy) from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Silk Island Is an island on the Mekong River located about 1-hour boat ride from Phnom Penh. It is home to a silk weaving village and silk centre, where you can see how the whole silk production process works from beginning to end. There is a small shop at the end of the row of houses where you can buy the silk scarves and skirts, as well as cotton scarves and kramas. If you continue along through the village, you’ll come to Koh Dach Pagoda. You can arrange a tuk tuk to visit Koh Dach (Silk Island) for $20 round trip included ferry fee.
