“Passport to Summer ” Promotion - June–August 2015
OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
The Promotion:
Starting on June 13, 2015 and running through August 14, 2015, 88.9
ShineFM and the Promotional Sponsors will be distributing special
limited edition “Passports To Summer” which listeners will use to
get discounts at participating businesses, win instant prizes and to
potentially win Grand Prizes awarded at the “ShineFM End of Summer
Celebration” on August 14, 2015. (Location and time TBA)
Promotional Sponsors:
For the purpose of passport distribution, the following businesses are
promotional sponsors:
Aquabatics
Bible for Missions
Blue Grass Nursery
Cake Bake Shoppe
Consignment Gallery
The Costume Shoppe
Distinctive Floors
Market on Macleod
South Pointe Toyota
The Wheel Pros
88.9 ShineFM
To Qualify for a “Grand Prize”
In order to qualify to win one of the “Grand Prizes” as part of this
promotion, participants must pick up a ShineFM Passport to Summer passport booklet from any of the Promotional Sponsor locations
above or at ShineFM Calgary studios at 4510 Macleod Trail South. ALL
Passport Stamps for each of the 10 promotional sponsoring businesses
& the ShineFM Bonus Stamp must be collected in the passport over a
9-week period to qualify for the grand prize. There are 11 stamps in
total that need to be collected in order to be qualified. There will be
3,000 passports distributed throughout the Summer. Odds of winning
depend on how many passports are turned in. Persons must drop their
passport off at the “ShineFM End of Summer Celebration” on Friday,
August 14th in order to be entered in the grand prize draw. The grand
prize(s) will be drawn at random on Friday, August 14th. (Time and
location to be announced)
Prizing:
This promotion will include summer prizes that will be awarded at
ShineFM events and Passport to Summer sponsor locations throughout
the Summer as well as at the End of Summer Celebration on August
14th. Approximate prize values will range from $50–$10,889 depending on prize items. Prize items may be added or removed throughout
the promotion, however a complete list of prizes to be awarded will be
posted on-site.
Prize Conditions:
1. All other expenses relating to the prize(s), where applicable, are the
winners’ responsibility.
2. Prizing is non-transferrable.
3. No substitution of prizing can be made.
4. The winners may be required to answer correctly and unaided, a
mathematical, time-limited, skill-testing question. Failure to answer
the question correctly in the time allowed will forfeit their prize and
prizing will become property of Touch Canada Broadcasting LP.
5. Winners will be required to provide reasonable proof of identity
when receiving prizing.
6. Anyone claiming a prize as part of this promotion must be in attendance at the August 14th event to claim their prize. If the owner
of the passport cannot be in attendance, they can send someone in
their place by filling out a form available on Shinefm.com or at the
ShineFM studios. Should they or their replacement not be in attendance, the prize won will be forfeit and become property of Touch
Canada Broadcasting LP.
How To Enter:
1. No purchase is necessary.
2. To qualify as a “Grand Prize Winner” you must collect all 10 Promotional Sponsor Passport to Summer stamps at the various sponsor
locations throughout the summer and the ShineFM Bonus Stamp at
events and activities throughout the summer. Other prizing will be
awarded at random throughout the summer. These locations may be
announced on-air, online (via Facebook, Instagram & Twitter), and
via email to ShineFM e-letter subscribers.
3. Your full name, email address, mailing address, & daytime contact
phone number must provided.
4. Entrant information may be retained by Touch Canada Broadcasting
LP past the close-date of the promotion for the purpose of including
entrants in other forms of promotional communications (email and
text messages).
Eligibility:
1. The promotion is open to residents of Alberta who have reached the
age of majority (18 years of age and over).
2. Qualifiers must be in attendance at the August 14th End of Summer Celebration (location and time TBA) and have collected all 10
Promotional Sponsor stamps AND the Bonus Stamp in order to be
eligible for the Grand Prizes.
3. The promotion is not open to individuals who are, or have been,
at any time over the duration of the promotion or the four months
preceding, an employee or representative of, or an immediate family member of, or domiciled with, an employee of Touch Canada
Broadcasting LP, or any of the Sponsoring Businesses, the advertising
agencies, or promotional companies associated with the promotion.
4. Limit one (1) Grand Prize Qualifier per household.
Other Rules and Requirements:
1. By participating in the promotion, entrants, nominators, and those
nominated must agree to be bound by these Official Rules and
Regulations.
2. Entry is limited to one (1) entry per household for the duration of the
promotion.
3. Qualifiers will be required to provide reasonable proof that they
meet the eligibility requirements of the promotion and that they
are the person whose name was selected (and met the necessary
requirements) to win.
4. All decisions of the judges are final.
5. All entries become the property of Touch Canada Broadcasting LP,
and none will be returned.
6. Contest Rules are subject to change and revision at the discretion of
Touch Canada Broadcasting LP at any point in time prior to the close
of the contest.
