new Viabizzuno e-business software
the first approach with the new system is the authentication form. the first change is already here, the
password recovery procedure. in fact, according to italian privacy laws, Viabizzuno is not allowed
to know users passwords. users are the only responsible and should take care of it. for these reasons,
in case of loss, final user can obtain a new one through a simple procedure, completely indipendent
from Viabizzuno sales department. passwords currently in use are still valid. user is free to change his
password if he wants to (s. section ‘account settings’).
main control panel
the system opening page has an interface different from the previous one; in fact the user can select the
market where he wants to work, or have information about. once selected the market using the related
buttons, it will be possible to enter the below boxes that represent the functions groups:
1) select a client on which to operate: the default company name will automatically appear.
2) s elect a market on which to operate: allows the possibility to select the market where the client wants
to work, or have information about.
3) d
ownload pricelist’s excel file: allows the possibility to download the files of pricelists in force, which
are created and updated in real time.
4) order: set of functions related to entry, management and tracking of the orders.
5) quotation: set of functions related to entry, management and tracking of the quotations.
6) project: set of functions related to entry, management and tracking of the logged projects.
7) special product request: set of functions related to entry, management and tracking of requests of
special items.
8) technical information: it includes technical information and installation intructions.
9) account settings: management, search, change of one’s own credentials and acceptance of conditions of sale.

orders
the section of orders has the following options:
-loading orders from file

-orders history
creation of a new order (no connections with other documents)
in this case the procedure is not different from that of the previous system. selecting availability (single
product or all products) the user will be directed to the list of products that can be entered in the order.

each time an item code is selected, the system adds it to the cart’s list. in this case there are many new
elements:
1) the cart is positioned at the top
2) the cart shows in real time the total amount of items selected till that moment
3) for each addition to the cart, the system saves a draft copy of the document which is going to be
entered. in case of loss of connection it will be possible, starting from the archive, recover entirely
one’s own work. this function is valid for each kind of document.

enter notes and dates
an important new element of the system is the possibility to enter notes and required delivery dates for
each single line. basically the system assigns the selected date at the beginning of the order to each line.
it is necessary to fill in the final page of the order with all requested information. if the order has
been generated from another document, all details entered in the original document are automatically
transfered.
create a new order from a quotation or project logged
this is one of the new element of the system. btefore going to the codes selection, the user has to:
1) indicate the required delivery date
2) indicate if the order:
a) is single, no connection
b) comes from a quotation
c) omes from a logged project
this allows to always maintain a link between the different documents. After having selected the type
of document of origin, the user will see the whole archive of it and he will have simply to choose the
desired document.
the system fills automatically the cart with the products already entered in the document of origin
(quotation or logged project). if you want to add other items just use the drop-down menu and go on
with the selection. unlike quotations and logged projects, the order does not allow to enter special or
fictitious items.
archive of orders
in this new software the order’s history is separate from the archive of quotations and logged projects,
ensuring greater speed and flexibility. in fact there are filters and possibilities to classify, that make the
consultation easier, as shown in the picture below.
create a new quotation or logged project
first of all it is necessary to select the country of the building site for which the user is entering the
quotation or the project. after which the entry of the required items follows the same procedure of the
order, i.e. by selecting ‘availability/single product or all products’.
cart of quotations and projects
as far as the cart is concerned there are an important innovations: possibility to enter fictitious codes or
unfinished product
documents attached to the project logged
it is an absolute innovation of the future e-business software. there are five sections of attachments
available. the only obligation is related to the insertion of:
lighting or plant layout;
or lighting calculations:
the remaining sections are optional, but are still important because they represent the structured historical
memory of the projects logged.
special items request
the special items management has been on this e-business software since the beginning; for this reason
the visualization of the requests, of the archive and the orders is almost unchanged. Some functions have
anyway been improved as shown below:
- the first steps relating to the logging of the request stay unchanged, the system will request more
information about the project building site and will offer the possibility to fill in further tecnical details
when making a request for a special item.
- in particular, we remind the possibility to enclose files of drawings or picture or other information at the
bottom of the display ‘special item request’.
- if the Avaline or For m item code requested is not known, it is possible to select the ‘special’ collection.
it will be so possible to enter a numeric code or an old special item code or simply to digit a description
of the special item needed.
- following is given a function which will facilitate requests of different special items that refers at a same
standard item.
by selecting ‘duplicate’ the system shows again the form already filled in with the data of the standard
item previously selected. this system allows to enter the data all in once, avoiding to fill them in two or
more times.
technical information
this section brings the user to the research of technical information and images of the various lighting
fixtures.
