USHJA Outreach Competitions
USHJA Outreach Competitions set a minimum standard for unrecognized (local) competitions;
participation is open to all equine enthusiasts, regardless of current USHJA or USEF membership
status.
USHJA membership is not required to participate in an Outreach Competition or any
USHJA Outreach class.
USHJA OUTREACH COMPETITION SCHEDULE
August 22 - 23 classes held in Ring 2
September 19-20, September 26-27 and October 3-4
classes held in Ring 3 all three weeks
except September 20 will be held in Ring 2
SATURDAY - 8AM START
$5 per USHJA member who is interested in earning points in the USHJA Outreach Medal, Hunter
Challenge, Jr. Hunter Challenge TB Hunter Challenge, TB Jumper Challenge or USHJA/ANRC
Horsemanship Class, to be paid by competition management to USHJA within 10 days of the
completion of the event

TB Hunter Bronze 2’6” (NJHSA/NJPHA/USHJA)
USHJA membership at the $15 Outreach level or higher is required by the first day of a competition
for any individual wishing to earn points toward USHJA-sponsored year-end awards in the USHJA
Outreach Medal, Hunter Challenge, Jr. Hunter Challenge, TB Hunter Challenge, TB Jumper Challenge
or USHJA/ANRC Horsemanship classes.

Horses wishing to earn points in the USHJA Outreach Hunter Challenge, TB Challenge and TB Jumper
Challenge classes must be registered with the USHJA. Registration is a $30 one-time (life) fee.

Rules and Regulations
• Classes and divisions that are USHJA Outreach, NJHSA/NJPHA/M&S
recognized will be run according to the rules of these organizations.
• All exhibitors must wear USEF approved protective headgear when mounted.
• The committee, Kelly Hudyman, Andrew Philbrick, Hunter Farms, Spotted Toad
Equestrian management and staff will NOT be held responsible for any accident,
loss, damage or injury (including death) occurring at the show.
• Entry Fees $25 unless stated otherwise.
• Post Entry Fee $10.
• Office fee $25. EMT fee $15.
• Entries must be submitted by 2PM the Friday prior to each show.

Every entry at this competition shall constitute an agreement and affirmation that all participants (which include, without limitation, the owner, lessee, trainer, manager, agent, coach, driver, rider, handler and the horse.) For themselves, their principals,
representatives, employees and agents: 1. Shall be subject to the constitution and rules of the competition; 2. Represent that every horse, rider, driver, and handler is eligible as entered; 3. Agree to hold the competition, their officials, directors and

Become a member of the WIHS Children's & Adult
Championships and WIHS Equitation to receive points.
Competitors need only submit one WIHS membership
application for the current qualifying year and that will
entitle them to accrue points in all WIHS santioned
classes. Membership is valid for the qualifying year and
entitles a rider to earn points on one or more horses in
any of the divisions.
National Finals are held at the
Pennsylvania National Horse Show.
West Coast Finals are held at the
Las Vegas National Horse Show.
