SRD has contially grown as a company with our new hire and also implementation of new departments, such as Marketing. We have expanded our sales department with the addition of a new sales person, John Reimer, who has spent many years working in sales and brings a wealth of knowledge to the SRD team. Luke Eshleman has taken over as Vice President and is currently managing many aspects of SRD to ensure higher quality standards. We are looking to expand even further this coming year. Luke has been in one type of Manufacturing or another most of his life. Growing up in the family business of the Forging Industry he started at an early age of learning the ropes of Production and Management Control that started with his Grandfather. Luke states: “I feel like I can really succeed only when the people around me are given the tools to succeed themselves. If I have learned one thing throughout my carreer it’s that it all starts with the people, everything else comes after.” Luke has now been with SRD for the past two years and has found a place to really dig his heels in. “It’s exciting to be in an industry with so much growth happening right before us. I have been very fortunate to be part of a company where our employees have such an ambition in making SRD & Medical Presses the best it can be. My role of Vice President is direction but with a purpose, a lot of people can stand and point out the destination over and over, where I try and point it out and ask how are we going to get there together. “ Mark Jeske and Luke Eshleman share their thoughts on the big changes: “Energized! That is how I feel about the progress and changes in SRD and MP. The new space we purchased has given us some great ideas on how to expand our product offerings. The first step was to settle in and build the inside to be a top notch facility that impresses new employees and customers alike. After getting settled, we are plowing ahead into our growth strategy and have hired new employees and expanded our departments. This location has been great for deliveries and centralized enough to obtain employees from all around Milwaukee and its Metropolitan area. 2015 looks and feels like another record year in sales for presses and dies alike and this move was instrumental to it.” Mark Jeske - President “Being part of a company where you can not only feel the growth but see it first hand is a very exciting thing. Our continued development within Steel Rule Diemasters is delivered by a team of younger professionals all exceeding together towards a larger landscape of opportunity. Personalizing business in this day and age is something that remains at the forefront for Steel Rule Diemasters. With all of our technological advancements, we strive to maintain our Family Owned status, through our employees and directly to the door of our customers.” “Business is about the people-everything else comes after” Luke Eshleman - Vice President Luke Eshleman Vice President Not only are we still the leader in selling world class dies, we have expanded on our technology to bring our customers even higher quality with a new patented manufacturing process. Steel Rule Diemasters has also added two more die cutting press models which will extend our product line to four press options. “Our two new presses are the SRD Clicker Press and SRD Roll Feed. We added these because we received countless inquiries about a small format press that had the power of our larger options and one that was semi-automated.” said Mark Jeske. Steel Rule Diemasters is always looking to find new ways to satisfy the die cutting industry needs. Medical Presses, a division of SRD, is our true area of innovation. We have always been a die shop and have been for over 14 years, but in the last few years we have expanded into the Medical world. Medical Presses is a fairly new division that brings cleanroom die cutting into the medical industry. Our presses and dies can be used to cut skin grafts, heart valves, wound dressings, and other varied medical needs. Since expanding into the medical industry, we have upgraded our two presses to continue to bring the newest technologies available. Overall, the new location has been a major step for SRD and MP and our growth in the Milwaukee Area. Check out our article in BizTimes. Away from work I enjoy being home with my wife and our newborn daughter, trips up to Northern Wisconsin, and of course our beloved Green Bay Packers.
