Eccellenza dono di natura (Gift of the nature) is a brand created by Eskaton
International, a company specialized in SME networks and internationalisation, whose
main aim is the promotion and the commercialisation of made in Italy products all
around the world.
The sectors interested are agribusiness, craftsmanship and tourism. Our society absorbs
mainly the selection and the coordination of enterprises which adhere to this special
“club of excellence”. The intent is to gather high quality companies which are
presented under a common brand by a unique interlocutor for potential customers.
In addition, we have to remark the existence of a shared trade office which works in
outsourcing. This office operates on behalf of all the participant enterprises and
integrates itself with the activities conducted by the enterprises and the human
resources presented in it. Furthermore, the trade office realises catalogues with our
Eccellenza dono di natura brand, and they are provided to buyers, importers and touroperators, being exhibited during fairs or manifestations being monthly updated with
new references. Under request, these catalogues can be personalised with buyers,
importers and tour-operators’ logos and can provide for a selection of products or
services.
Soon, related to the trade office there will be a technological platform with a section
dedicated to the e-commerce activity. The platform will be multilingual and will allow
the management of the stock, the orders, the payments, the expeditions and there will
be an advanced CRM software. If exclusive trade agreements are taken, e-commerce
section dedicated to B2C will be available free with logos and references to the
distributors.

PROFILE
Freelance archaeologist, lives in Vibo Valentia, Calabria.
She graduated and specialized at the University of Pisa and holds a
PhD in Medieval Archaeology at the school "Riccardo Francovich"
in Siena.
She is the President of the Cultural Association
Mnemosyne. She received in 2007 the award "Esperia - ideas and
projects for the enhancement of Calabria," at the University of Pisa
for the thesis "medieval villages in the Angitola Valley". She has ten
years experience of excavation, survey, cataloging and study of
archaeological material both in Italy and internationally. She
collaborates with various Archaeological Superintendence, with
Italian and foreign universities, with companies operating in the field
of Cultural heritage. Her main interests are the Late Antiquity and
Medieval Archaeology and the Archaeology of the landscape. She
has a Masters degree in Design and Landscaping Promotion at the
University of Campobasso.
She is currently finalizing a training, "500 young people for culture",
at the headquarters of the National Archaeological Museum of
Reggio Calabria.

Filippo La Pera
PROFILE
Freelance hiking guide, lives in Vibo Valentia, Calabria.
He has a diploma as a surveyor and agricultural expert and
graduated in architecture at the Politecnico in Turin with a
specialization in architectural restoration of historical centers.
Alongside his professional activity as an architect he has
collaborated for many years as a nature guide with the Italian
Alpine Club, WWF and many other naturalistic associations for
carrying out excursions to caves, waterfalls, mountains and nature
trails in the whole territory of Calabria and especially in the
Aspromonte and Pollino. He has acquired over the years a great
knowledge of the flora and fauna of the Calabria region.
He is a champion of table tennis and chess.

PROFILE
Former regional secretary of the WWF Calabria, lives in Pizzo
Calabro, Calbria.
He holds a degree in Natural Sciences at the University of Calabria
with a thesis on the birds of Lake Angitola. He has dedicated his life
to the defense of the environment and wildlife in particular and has
led on behalf of WWF numerous groups of adults and students at
the WWF Oasis of Lake Angitola. He conducted censuses of the
Cormorant and other wintering waterfowl. and has been
responsible for the project “Sea turtles in Calabria”.
Among his fields of interest are the study of cetaceans, the
Mediterranean flora and the impact of hunting on the fauna and
hunting in the region.
He has authored numerous publications.

Freelance art historian specialist, lives in Caltanissetta, Sicilia.
Graduated and specialized in Economics and Management of
Cultural Heritage and Performing Arts at the Sacred Heart Catholic
University of Milan, he has realized numerous publications in the field
of cultural and religious objects mainly of the province of
Caltanissetta. He worked for years with the Diocesan Museum of
Caltanissetta for the study of conservation materials and for the
enhancement of the same and with numerous cultural associations
and schools in the area (Rotary Club, Fidapa, Sicily Promotion of
Caltanissetta High School, Pro site of Caltanissetta) for the
organization of cultural events, cultural tourism routes and study
conferences as well as an expert in cultural tourism visits in Sicily.

PROFILE
Freelance archaeologist, lives in Marina di Gioiosa Jonica, Calabria.
She graduated in Classic Archeology at the Sacred Heart Catholic
University of Milan and specialized in Archaeology at the University
of Matera. For years she worked as an archaeologist responsible for
excavations and collaborated with
the Archaeological
Superintendence of Calabria, with the University of Basilicata and
many private companies.
She works as a tour guide and / or tour manager on behalf of
schools (as part of the POR projects), public companies, Universities
(Sacred Heart Catholic University of Milan) and travel agencies.
Since 2008 she is a partner and director of the company "MEGALE
HELLAS OF ELIODORO R. & C. SAS" (tourism and sport), with the

Serena Raffiota
PROFILE
Freelance archaeologist, lives in Enna, Sicilia. Graduated and
specialized in Classical Archaeology at the University of Catania,
she has taken part in numerous excavations in Italy and abroad,
also working in different archaeological sites in Sicily including
Solunto, Syracuse, Centuripe, Catania, Mountain March,
Vassallaggi. Particularly significant is her experience in Morgantina,
site to which she has devoted most of her research activities and
publications. Collaborating with the Superintendence for Cultural
and Environmental Heritage of Enna under the direction of
Catherine Greek, in 2004 she managed the most recent and very
productive archaeological surveys conducted in the sanctuary of
St. Francis Bisconti, place of illicit origin of acroliti and the head of
Hades, perhaps even the statue of the goddess. She served on the
Board of the Regional Archaeological Museum of Aidone, recently
also involved in a project of cataloging the exhibits. As a trusted
collaborator of the Superintendence of Enna, for several years she
provides advice to public and private entities in the context of
preventive archeology activities. She also collaborates with schools
of all levels for cultural projects to enhance and promote the
Sicilian archaeological heritage. She recently started to work as
tourist guide, in order to pass on to others the passion for
archeology and cultural heritage.

A journey of emotions through smells, tastes, sounds, healthy lifestyle of our lands. In 1957 the American epidemiologist
Ancel Keys came with his medical-scientific team, in Nicotera, a small town on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, which
belongs to that section called "Coast of the Gods", to give the boot to studies, that would confirm his brilliant theory on the
close relationship between eating healthy and feel good.
Keys called the Mediterranean Diet "food systems of the Mediterranean people," referring to an extremely ancient history
which influenced all the peoples of this area; history of discoveries, civilizations, changes of languages and cultures, meeting
and exchange of food and culinary traditions that, in their interaction, gave birth to a new knowledge.
In November 2010 UNESCO has inscribed the Mediterranean diet in the list of intangible cultural heritage calling it a social
practice based on skills, knowledge, customs and traditions concerning the landscape, the history, the cuisine, the
cultivation of food, the fishing, the collection, storage, processing and consumption of food of the Mediterranean people.
The Mediterranean diet is the only nutritional model in the world capable of expressing the lifestyle of a people and is
therefore culture and art in the same way of artworks and monuments.
Cultural approach also means fairness in the food production, distribution and consumption, communication and defense of
cultural diversity. Means impress programming strategies, action, and research towards a new paradigm of the economy
and sustainable development that is able to protect the social, cultural, educational benefit of current and future
generations. A territory extraordinarily rich (which is that of Vibo Valentia), with many sites of archaeological, historical,
architectural and artistic importance, It must be enhanced to foster and promote cultural tourism.
This does not means only make accessible museums, archaeological areas, exhibitions, libraries, parks and natural
environment, but also qualify the network of primary services to encourage its proper use: information, communication,
transport, tourist accommodation. Culture and tourism can be truly a winning combination, in view of a path of growth
sustainable and lasting.

Hidden in the heart of the “Jasmines Coast”, this is
an easy excursion, suitable for everyone, but very
beautiful, usable in the spring, summer and
autumn.
A dense forest of alders, poplars and chestnut
trees creates a pleasant shade along the trail,
which follows the course of a stream that creates
more than 5 waterfalls. It’s a path surrounded by
nature, to discover the hidden water ways in a
lush greenery, between imposing granite rocks.

The "Circumetnea" is a narrow-gauge railway
which connects Catania to Riposto, a city near
Catania, and circumnavigates the Volcano Etna
across several piedmont villages.
The tour starts from the "Catania Borgo" station of
the Circumetnea. Its destination is the lake of
Gurrida, the only one in Europe created by a lavic
barrier. There you can admire some submerged
wineyards.
After, you will move to the Medieval village of
Randazzo where you can visit the Archaeological

The prices in this catalog are given in EUR and are quoted net, include all taxes and apply for groups. They do not include:

Free of charge
One every 25 paying participants is free of charge.
Accommodation
Groups of adults are accommodated in double rooms and in few single rooms (against a supplement). All rooms have private
bathrooms. Half board includes breakfast, dinner and overnight stay. Full board includes breakfast, lunch in hotel or in a
restaurant for groups of adults and package lunch for groups of students, dinner and overnight stay. Hotels usually serve
continental breakfast. Breakfast buffets are also available on request and against payment of an extra charge.
Note: some hotels do not have a restaurant service. In this case meals will be served in a nearby restaurant.
Surcharges
Stays of less than three nights may require a supplementary payment, which will be communicated upon request. By the same
token, all surcharges pertaining to special periods, such as national or religious festivities (Carnival time, Christmas, Easter,
Ascension Day, Pentecost, Liberation Day, Labour Day...) or trade fairs, exhibitions or special events will be communicated
upon request.
Monuments and museums
Information concerning monuments and museums are given in co-operation with local tourist boards and refer to the current
year (2016).
City tax
Please note that the city tax, which is requested in some Italian cities, is not included in the price.
The tax is to be paid by the customer to the hotel directly on spot, at check-in. It is not possible to include the tax in our
proposed prices.
Payments
Upon confirmation of booking, a deposit of 30% of the total amount will be charged. The balance is to be paid 4 weeks before
your stay.
Cancellation fee
• 10% of the participation rate in case of cancellation from 42 till 28 days before the arrival of the client;
• 25% of the participation rate in case of cancellation from 27 till 21 days before the arrival of the client;
• Between 20 and 8 days before arrival: 50% of the total cost
Vouchers
A voucher must be issued for each service, booked and paied through SICILY IN TOURS T.O:
A copy of it will be sent before the arrival of the group.
Variations / confirmations
Bookings can only be confirmed on payment of the deposit.
If the services included in the tour cannot be supplied or there are changes for reasons beyond the control of SICILY IN TOURS
T.O., SICILY IN TOURS T.O. could for instance substitute hotels already booked with others of the same category or even
superior.
Complaints
In case of complaints, these must be passed on to SICILY IN TOURS T.O. immediately and in any case during the holiday. SICILY
IN TOURS T.O. cannot be held itself responsible for complaints received by the Company after the departure of the group.

Travel arrangements for the services arranged are regulated by law 1084 of the 27.12.77 enforced by the International
Convention relevant to Travel Contracts (CCV) signed in Brussels on the 23.04.70 and by D.L. nr. 206 dated 06.09.2005 subject:

particular regard to Torino and the province, through the organization of new and specific proposals to
discover the beauties of our territory. Our goal is to offer cultural and tourist proposals from traditional and
unusual cut, in favor of all fans on the subject, so that no interest CULTURE remains of a few but to be
extended to all. The agenda planning does not have a fixed place, but it is a journey traveling to deepen
their knowledge assets to 360°. Every week they offer many and varied proposals to accommodate and
satisfy the curiosity of our own citizens, willing to learn more about the city, as well as to propose the most

The company “Autoservizi Murdaca” was founded in 1957 after a very long time spent in Argentina by the
founder Ciccillo Murdaca, already owner of another company operating in public transportation in
Buenos Aires. In 1979 Antonio, son of Ciccillo, became the spokesman of the company and in 1988, with
his brothers Rocco and Gerardo, carried on excellently the name of the company. In 2006 the three
brothers separated and the company was refounded by Antonio and his son Francesco, a new
generation that keeps on going.

The hotel “La Locanda del Postino” is located inside the Eolian Islands’ oldest crater, on the western side of
the Island of Salina. Spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed from the hotel, cradled on one side by a natural
mountainous amphitheatre and overlooking the sea, Filicudi and Alicudi on the other.
The hotel garden captures the authentic Eolian atmosphere with its surrounding palm trees, caper and
other indigenous Mediterranean plants.
The hotel ten en-suite rooms can accommodate 2, 3 or 4 guests, depending on requirements. Each room
has a mini-bar, air-conditioning, a TV and a private patio area in which to relax.
The breakfast buffet is available from 8.30 a.m. until whenever you get up! Homemade cakes and jams are
a specialty. The restaurant, which serves typical Eolian dishes, is open all day to both residents and nonresidents.
The hotel is located 500 mt. from the cove, where you can reach the water by steps. Here, you can see a
small fishing village built on the rocks, where the Massimo Troisi film “Il Postino” starring Philip Noiret and
Maria Grazia Cucinotta, was made. Boat trips around Salina and to the other volcanic islands can be
arranged on request.
Mountain paths can be followed to the summit of Monte Fossa delle Felci and Monte Porri, from where you
can see all the islands.
Public transport is available but private transport is recommended in order to appreciate all of the island
