The first step will be to save the USER.PAR file that is attached in the email.
From your email application, Right click on the USER.PAR attachment and the Save As menu should
appear. Save the file in the documents directory which should be the default. The picture below shows
how it would look using Windows Outlook.
Now we will start Windows File Explorer.
Left Click the Windows Icon at the bottom left of the screen. That should call up a menu that includes
an entry “Computer”. When you left click on Computer, File Explorer should start. (see image below).
Then left click here.

File explore should look like the image below.
From the menu on the left side of File Explorer left click on Documents under Libraries. You should see
the directory where USER.PAR was saved. Left click on USER.PAR then Right click on USER.PAR, a menu
with “copy” should appear (see image below). Left click on copy and the menu will disappear.
From the menu on the left side of File Explorer left click on Local Disk (C:) under Computer.
In the right side window a list of directories should appear including Program Files (x86)
Double left click on Program Files (x86) – the new file list will include the Brimrose directory
Double left click on Brimrose – the new file list will include the snap32 directory
Double left click on snap32 – The new file list will include USER.PAR
Right click in an open space in the right window pane (see image below). Be careful not to select one of
the files. When you right click a menu should appear that includes “paste”. Left click on “paste”.

The copy file dialog should appear (see below). Left click on “Copy and Replace”
In the File Explorer left pane left click on “Local Disk (C:)” under Computer
The right pane will show a list of files and folders including “Users”.

Double Left Click on Users – The new right pane list will include PAT_USER (the image has Tester as the
user)
Double Left click on PAT_USER (the image below has tester as the user).
Left Click in the box at the top of File Explorer (image below shows where to click

Once you click in the box the text will appear like the next image. The text is currently selected and will
be replaced when we type. From the keyboard hit the arrow key that points to the right, this will
unselect the text and allow us to append to it. Now type “/AppData” without the quotes and hit enter.
File Explorer should look like image below.

Use the right arrow key to
correctly place the cursor
and unselect the text.
Double left click on “Local” – The new file list will include VirtualStore.
Double left click on “VirtualStore” – The new file list will include Program Files (x86)
Double left click on “Program Files (x86)” – Check if the new file list includes a directory named
Brimrose.
If there is not a directory called Brimrose then you are done and should be able to log into Snap32.
If there is a directory called Brimrose:
Double left click on “Brimrose” – The new file list will include snap32
Double left click on “snap32” – check to see if the new file list contains the file USER.PAR
If it does not contain USER.PAR you are done and should be able to log into Snap32.
If USER.PAR is in the directory – Right click in a white space in the File Explore right window pane. Do
not select a file. The menu that includes “paste” should appear. Left click on paste – the Copy and
Replace dialog should appear like before.
Click on “Copy and Replace”.
Now try Snap32.
