Book 500 XL Modular - Chassis
Quality can be seen from the base.
Design and practical style are the distinguishing
features of the Book 500 chassis. Its large wheels
make it extremely manoeuvrable. The Peg Perego
G-Matic System makes attaching all the other
elements very easy. A simple click is all it takes to
attach the Switch seat, the Navetta XL bassinet or
the Primo Viaggio SL car seat onto the Book 500
chassis. The aluminium chassis (solid yet light at
the same time) ensures you have perfect
movement control and stability. It is available in
Total-Black, as shiny as the body of a car, with
coloured decorations on the eco leather
handlebar.
Open it, fold it, push it with one hand and without worries.
Pushing Book 500 is a pleasure. You can open it, fold it and push it with just one hand. When folded it is free
standing and takes up very little room. You can move it effortlessly like a trolley case thanks to the central handle for
transport. The non-slip single handlebar is lined with eco-leather and the colour details match the various elements
of the modular system. Its height is adjustable and it was designed to offer an ergonomic grip to people of different
height and size (including foot size!). The finishing touch is a large storage basket with the "easy load" system.
Easy Drive system: less effort, more fun.
The innovative Peg Perego wheels with suspensions and 12 ball bearings give you 360° of agile movement. This
means perfect manoeuvring ease, even on uneven surfaces, and 30% less effort compared to ordinary pushchairs.
The front wheels are lockable swivel wheels and the rear ones, which are larger to ensure better performance, have
a centralised brake.

The Quattro Stagioni (All Seasons) system controls air circulation in the bassinet, ensuring protection against the cold
during the winter and fresh ventilation in the summer.
The special Panorama Hood has a ventilation window and a loop to hang your baby's favourite toy. The
finishing touch is a foot muff with refined details and a very useful windbreaker.Inside the bassinet are 2 useful
pockets to store small items that need protection (such as the baby's dummy). The adjustable handlebar

Navetta XL - travelling safely by car
Peg Perego does not consider safety just an extra option - it is one of the essential principles for the creation of top
quality products. The Navetta XL bassinet, which is ideal for long journeys and as a cradle when not at home,
complies with Group 0 standards (up to 10 kg).
The bassinet has the Vehicle Kit to attach it to the seat with a 3-point safety harness, shoulder pads and hooks for
road transport (sold separately). This ensures maximum safety in the case of a front or side collision. Navetta XL is
made of polypropylene, a rigid, shock-proof material that is also hygienic because it does not absorb humidity from
the air. The practical adjustable fastening hooks allow parents to attach the bassinet to the vehicle's rear seat,
so a parent can sit next to the baby.
The bassinet can be used at home as a rocking cradle or a little cot thanks to its adjustable base. The inner lining can
