After introducing the AH Direct Drive, the auctioneer will open the
floor for bidding dollar amounts toward the Arbor Heights Elementary
Classroom Enrichment Fund. Truly, no amount is too big or too small. So
raise your paddle and give what you can to support our school! Donations
may be matched by your employer.

Your table will be able to choose from many delicious desserts donated by
local bakeries and restaurants and some made by our own families!
Each ticket costs $10.00.
The winning tickets will be drawn at the end of the Live auction.
At your seat you will find a Dessert Auction Bid Card. Write the bid amount
you would like to contribute toward a dessert for your table and place it in
the envelope marked Dessert Auction.
Wine Cellar Auction
Envelopes will be collected. The table that bids the most will get to choose
its dessert first, then the second highest bidding table will choose, and so
on. Every table gets a dessert. Don’t forget to preview all the choices!
Thanks to all for bringing a bottle of your favorite wine. Donated fine wines
will be auctioned off as a complete wine cellar.
Buy it Now Boards
Beer and wine, $4; water and soda, $2 at the no host bar.
Look for the Buy it Now Boards with Gift Certificates or Buy-Ins available
at face value. Simply write in your bidder # on the item you want, and it’s
yours! Boards will include Restaurant Gift Certificates, Poker Night for Ten,
and a Girls Bunko Party.

At the registration table you will receive your bidder number and catalog.
Payment
You may register for Express Check-Out at that time by leaving a signed
credit card imprint allowing us to charge your credit card for your purchases.
This will speed up your check-out since all you have to do is stop by the
registration desk on your way out to pick up your purchased items.
All purchases including drinks, raffle tickets, dessert dash, etc. during the
auction will be made with your bidder number. Simply give your bidder
number and initial. There will be no exchange of money during the auction.
Keep your bidder number with you. By bidding in the Silent or Live Auction,
each bidder agrees to the following auction rules:
Silent Auction
Silent bidding begins at 5:30 p.m. All items in the Silent Auction have bid
forms next to them. If you want to bid on an item, write your bidder number
beside the amount of your bid on the bid sheet. You may bid on any item
as many times as you wish. If there is an item you simply must have, you
can guarantee your purchase with the pre-set price listed. To guarantee your
purchase, enter your bidder number in the designated area and put a line
through the form so no one else bids.
Live Auction
The Live Auction begins at 7:30. To bid on an item, you as bidder will signal
the auctioneer by raising your bidder number. Please hold your bid card
so that the number can be easily seen. The winning Live Auction bids are
acknowledged verbally by the auctioneer. All sales are final and there will
be no exchanges or refunds on items.

If you have signed up for Express Check-out stop by the Express
registration desk on your way out to collect your receipts and
purchased items. If you have not signed up for Express Check-Out, you
must pay for you Silent and Live Auction items at the general registration
desk before leaving the premises. Please make checks payable to AHPTSA.
We also accept Visa and MasterCard.
Arbor Heights PTSA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All payments in
excess of the fair market value are tax-deductible as provided by law. Please
consult a tax advisor regarding tax laws and items purchased at the Arbor
Heights Elementary Auction.
All bidders acknowledge and agree that no contractual relationship exists
between Arbor Heights Elementary and the individual offering items at
the Arbor Heights Elementary Auction. By bidding at the Auction, each
bidder agrees to hold harmless Arbor Heights Elementary and Seattle Public
Schools and it’s staff, in any case of action, which may arise, from the item
he/she successfully bids on. Bidder further agrees that by successfully
bidding on an item at the Arbor Heights Elementary Auction he/she creates
a contract with the individual offering the item for auction, and any recourse
is exclusively with that individual. Unless otherwise noted or arranged
between the offering party and the successful bidder, all offers terminate a
year from this auction on November 13th, 2011.
