12th Annual Bar-B-Que Supper and Auction Coming in August
The annual Bar-B-Que Supper and Auction fundraiser for the Open Arms Shelter is coming
in August and has some great new auction items that you won’t want to miss! Imagine being part of
Nascar excitement at the Texas Motor
Speedway with Infield passes and Pit Road
tours from November 4-7th. You might rather
rev up your heart on a 5-lap ride in a Z 06 Corvette at the Texas Driving Experience in Ft. Worth.
Or imagine flying high with Southwest Airline tickets to the place of your
dreams. Maybe your dream will be 2 tickets to a Dallas Cowboy game
in the new Cowboy Stadium or a week’s
stay in a beautiful mountain home in
Colorado near fabulous golf or snow skiing.

The event, sponsored by AgHeritage FCS, Bancorp South, First State Bank, Bank of
England and the Forresters will be at the Lonoke High School lunchroom on August 3rd from 5:007:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 for a bar-b-que plate and $5 for a hotdog plate, catered by Bubba’s.
There will be items displayed around the lunchroom for silent bidding
including household items, dinner coupons, sports paraphernalia and
other great items for men, women and children. The live auction, led

Cabot Avenue of Dreams Helps Shelter
This year’s Avenue of Dreams in May was a great event with over 700 people
touring homes in and around the Cabot area. Rhonda
House, event coordinator and member of the Cabot
Area Home Builders Association said the association
is dedicated to providing safe and affordable housing
to clients.

There will also be many varieties of decorative
pumpkins and gourds including, but not limited to cinderellas,
fairytales, and luminas.
And you won’t want to miss the fall
photo booth, face painting, pumpkin decorating, and homemade fudge and other goodies!

in school colors from your community.
