Efficient Search of Address Information
Directory Framework
The Directory Framework grants a unified access to various databases from one single
interface - for a secure, efficient and systematic search of address information.
Most companies use several databases to store
important addresses such as:

Active Directory, Domino or Novell eDirectory for
corporate data
•
ERP systems (e.g. Finnova, Avaloq, SAP, CRM)
•
SQL based databases for customer data
•
Microsoft Exchange personal or public folders
•
CD or Internet-based telephone/address directories: e.g. Twixtel, tel.search.ch and local.ch
•
Excel Sheets, Microsoft Access databases, text
files etc.
It happens that some addresses are stored in several
databases, but with different contents. To gather all
information of a contact, several searches need to be
performed, sometimes even with different programs.
In contrast to these conventional set-ups, the Directory Framework grants a unified access to these
databases from one single interface. It provides a
configuration per employee that permits the screening of dedicated databases and the initiation of
phone calls, for instance.

directories.
The search for address information is carried out
using different applications. With our solution you
