I am pleased to announce our first new project in Year 2016 has
started on 1st Mar 2016 as per contract for the Banggai Ammonia Plant Utility Piping Work.
We are expecting this new Banggai Ammonia Plant Piping project to generate sales starting 2nd Quarter of year 2016.
We also expect to secure new contract starting 2nd Quarter of
year 2016.
Our Ulubelu#3&4 Geothermal Power Plant Project is on schedule. The Unit#4 is expected to start one month earlier than original schedule.
Our Compressor Installation Project in SMI is extended to 5th
July 2016 based on mutual agreement between us and customer due to some late delivery of parts.
We all need to continue to execute our existing job with safety as
first priority. We need to continue to ensure our projects are performed with high productivity and quality while striving to secure
new contracts in order to achieve a better performance than last
year.

Recent Workshop Training Activity By IAI
Our Section Head of Accounting, Ms. Yenny Marta recently attended 2 days’ workshop training held
by Indonesian Institute of Accountants (Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia/IAI) from 16-17 March 2016. The
topic of training is “Financial Statement Analysis” which discussed the financial ratios and function of
the ratio to highlights key points of a financial statement to Management for decision making.

Our Site Finance Officer namely Wawan Setiawan has been mobilized from PTJEL Head Office to Banggai Ammonia Plant (BAP) Project on 14 February 2016. This BAP project is located at Banggai, Luwuk,
Central Sulawesi province
Mr. Wawan Setiawan and other project staffs are working happily at mess while waiting construction of site office which expected to be completed for another 1 week time.

In the early of 2016, PT.JEL acquires a new project for Banggai Ammonia Plant, with purely piping
work around 112 thousand DB. This project requires a good quality in order to achieve the PT.JEL’s
target which is rejection rate of welder less than 4 % with no major complaint and no back log report.
It’s a challenge for PT.JEL QA-QC team to implement the complete QA-QC task as well as completed
the job with a higher target. BAP Project will lead by MR.Maryono as a QA-QC Site coordinator. His
experiences in this field are needed in order to maintain the BAP Quality target.
In Installation Ethylene Booster Compressor (SMI Project). The first welding of piping part will be start
this month. MR. Sigit Wuryanto is taking control to lead the QA-QC site team for this project. Mechanical work, especially installing the rotating part (i.e Compressor ) will require a precision measurement
until micrometer level. The result of a good quality of measurement is a good vibration for the rotating
part. It is the Site QA-QC team’s job to maintain this part.
Since last month the total of RT taken in Ulubelu Project had reach 30 sheets film with no repair
(rejection rate still 0%). MR.Ris andi and team try to keep maintaining this good performance.

Mr Sukowiyono Arrived at UI Training Centre
In order to upgrade the quality of PT.JEL Man Power, QA-QC dept had conducted the Welding
Inspector training for one of our Member MR Suko Wiyono. This program is implemented to
prospective PT.JEL QA-QC staff as well as increasing their knowledge and to comply with
general project requirement. Mr.Suko Wiyono will be trained for 1,5 month in a Welding Inspector course starting from March 9, 2016.

EHS CONFERENCE 2016
IN
JEL SINGAPORE
EHS Conference 2016 held at our Jurong Engineering Limited Headquarter in Singapore on February
24, 2016. This conference attended by all subsidiaries of Jurong Engineering Ltd. Each EHS professionals from all subsidiaries sharing their knowledge and experience to develop the world class Safety, Health and Environment. As leaders represent a variety of industries and company from subsidiary of Jurong Engineering Ltd., they shared and learned about EHS performance, best practice and
methods from all subsidiaries.
EHS Conference 2016 is starting with an opening speech from COO. They presented about how to
build positive and healthy safety culture. Safety culture must be based on attitude, enforced accountability and leadership. Safety is not only Safety Supervisor’ matters. Supervisor, Section Engineer, Chief Engineer, Site Manager and Project Manager are accountable for safety performance.
The first agenda is presentation from JML (maintenance subsidiary), next presentation is from us PT.

member at EHS conference. We was presented our EHS performance 2015, practices and program,
project section that presented from each project (Ulubelu, SMI, Banggai Amonia Plant), and road
map EHS. The next presentation is from TJEL, EESB (Equator Engineering Sdn Bhd), JEL (Borneo) Sdn
Bhd, JEL Overseas, and closing speech from Jurong Engineering Ltd. (Mr. Jeffrey Tan).
EHS Conference 2016 give us many networking opportunities. It also creates an atmosphere of collaboration and education, such as building a relationship and discovering a common ground and
areas for improvement. This conference provides a one day learning that motivates us to achieve
innovations and strategics for safety goals.

NEW SITE EHS OFFICER
Banggai Amonia Plant Project is currently starting a preparation. They have been already mobilized EHS
Supervisor, Mr. Finatri, on February 3rd, 2016. He will carry out supervision regarding to the safety, health and
environment directly at site. Everyday, he conducts toolbox meeting and daily monitoring for construction activity
at site. He also responsible to make sure the workers will be work safe and sound.
On At 07 March 2016, EHS Coordinator Banggai Amonia Plant Project – Mr. Novitra has been mobilized as
well. He will coordinate with the client (PT. Rekayasa Industri) on everything regarding to EHS matters. Mr. Novitra will prepare program plan for Banggai Amonia Plant and make a great achievement.

The strength and success of any company can be seen on the effective management of productivity,
quality, safety, health and the environment, in addition to marketing and finance. The environment is
governed by outdoor/ external factor while safety and health are governed by indoor/internal considerations. Commitment towards employees safety and health is well demonstrated by companies
safety performance. Below is the performance statistics of PT Jurong Engineering Lestari from
2011—2015.

PT. Jurong Engineering Lestari has some projects. They are , Mechanical Erection Ulubelu unit 3 & 4 Geothermal
Power Plant, Install New Ethylene Booster Compressor
Project (PT. Styrindo Mono Indonesia) and Banggai
Amonia Plant Project. For GT11 C-Inspection project at
Sengkang has been finished.
The Purpose for EHS Best Project selection is to recognize for sustained activity and contribution to company. It challenges EHS project team to improve EHS
system and implementation that can grow safety culture on employees. Selection cycle is every 3 months
and now for Q1 is from January to March 2016. EHS
Best Project available to be presented to deserving
safety professionals. It is presented quarterly for significant achievement in the advancement of the system safety, health and environment profession.
The systematic approaches to safety its data driven process that involves analytical techniques identify sites for
potential safety improvement and suggest project for safety investment. The Systemic tool provides a step-bystep process for conducting systemic safety analysis; considerations for determining a reasonable distribution
between the implementation of spot safety improvements and systemic safety improvements; and a mechanism
for quantifying the benefits of safety improvements implemented through a systemic approach.
The New Ethylene Booster Compressor Project (PT. Styrindo Mono Indonesia) has been choosen as EHS Best
Project Q1-2016. The selection itself is from Statistic Performance, continuity program, management involvement and safety initiative for improvement. PT.JEL is hoping that this project could affected another projects to
improve their safety performance.

The issued Letter of intent by Rekind, awarded PT. JEL in Piping utility Package #3. Rekind
stated that to start necessary action including Mobilization. Commencement Date of Work is 1st
March 2016. Following our Mobilization Plan schedule 1st Mobilization Tools and equipment
using 2 (two) Container 20 Feet on 3rd February 2016 (ATD). 1st Mobilization from Tool Centre
- Surabaya – Luwuk with Vessel KM Saviour (ATA Site) 25th Feb 2015.
Content of Container are Lakoni Inverter 20 units, Chain block 17 units, body harness 69 sets,
Spanners, water pressure pump 8 units, pressure gauge 43 noz, Manifold 3 units, PC desktop
13 noz, Electrode Dryer 100 kg 2 units, Cable Power ± 800 meter etc.

having 111,851 DB. The previous project that has been handled by Pak Widiantoro on
SAMUR Project (Sabah Urea Ammonia) Petronas around 700.000 Db will give his expertise
and high skill to collaborate with BAP Project Team to complete the job on schedule and as
per owner specification.

appointed as Construction Manager in Ulubelu Geothermal Project, he executed the Modification Works
during First Year Inspection of Patuha Geothermal Power Plant Project as Site Manager. In this modification work Project, Arief was responsible for preparing the quotation and involved in the negotiation

Arief Khoiruddin has 3 year experiences working at Saudi Arabia as a Mechanical Engineer. His project
is 12 x 80 MW Riyadh Combine Cycle Power Plant Ext. 9 TIAC Project and Qurayah, 12 x 60 MW Combine Cycle Power Plant Project. Beside that he has 2.5 year experiences as Turbine engineer in Tanjung
Jati B 2 x 660 MW Coal Fired Power Plant Project and PLTU Cilacap 2 x 300 MW Coal Fired Steam Power Plant Project. Other project where he acted as Mechanical Engineer is in Tanjung Jati B Expansion
Project and Operation and Maintenance Coal Fired Steam Power Plant Tanjung Jati B 2 x 660 MW unit
3 & 4, for around 2 years.
MILESTONE CELEBRATION OF ULUBELU UNIT 3 AND 4 (2x55 MW) GEOTHERMAL POWER PROJECT
Ulubelu Geothermal Power Plant Project which we are executing now consist of two units and as
per schedule, one of the unit i.e., unit #3 shall be in operation by middle of this year (2016), whereas the next unit i.e., unit #4 shall be in operation by beginning of next year (2017). PT JEL as the
subcontractor for the mechanical erection has successfully install the main part of the unit#3. 87
tons weight of Generator Unit #3 has been successfully installed on December 2015. This Generator mounted on a generator foundation with a height of 10 m. 4 units strand jack was used to lift
the generator and another 2 strand jack was used to pull the gantry. The associates turbine and
transformer and three units of separator has been also installed successfully.
Due to the successful of installing the main part of unit #3, Ulubelu project team organize the milestone celebration. Mr. Yap Chee Lung as President Director attend this celebration and having
dinner with the project team.
