Location
Unterterzen, a small village in the canton of St. Gallen, is situated 75 km or 50 car
minutes from the city of Zurich. The resort is 5km away from the highway. Thanks
to the easy access, snow chains are not needed in the winter.
The holiday region took its present name "Heidiland" from the world-famous
story by Johana Spyri. The excellent road network allows you to reach your
desired destination in pleasant time.
Every town around the Lake Walensee presents itself in its diversity. The village
of Quinten is particularly popular due to its Mediterranean climate and car-free
zone, while the small village of Betlis is famous for its stunning waterfalls.
High above the north shore, you can find the village of Amden which is built on
the sunniest slopes of the region. Here you can enjoy the extensive walking area
in summer and the family friendly skiing slopes in winter.
Extending along the south shore of the lake you can discover the sports and
hiking area of Flumserberg.

Apartments
Surrounded by the beautiful gardens of the Resort Walensee, these high-quality furnished 3.5 and 4.5 roomed apartments pride themselves on their
outstanding interior design. The apartments are reminiscent of modern chalets.
Enjoy relaxing moments in the cozy living room in front of the fireplace or conjure up delicious dishes in the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy a healthy night’s
sleep in the comfortable bedrooms, some of which boast an additional balcony.
The bathrooms are decorated in a subtle white, and equipped with a shower or a bathtub. Particularly noteworthy are the wooden balconies in all the
apartments with their sensational views of the petrol-blue lake and the impressive mountain chain of the Churfirsten.

3.5 roomed apartments
When you enter any of these four apartments you walk straight into the living area, the
heart of your residence. The cozy lounge has a flat screen television, a DVD player, a
stove and a balcony with great views. The kitchen, which is decorated in light cream, is
furnished with all the necessary utensils for your daily use. The two bedrooms have
been furnished with great attention to detail. There is a bathroom and a separate
shower and toilet for your convenience. The bright, modern décor provides a
comfortable and elegant living environment.

These apartments are built on two floors all of them with a touch of luxury. On
the lower level you will find an atmospheric living area, comfortable kitchen, a
simple bathroom and a separate toilet as well as two balconies. The staircase
leads to the upper floor to another bedroom with a separate dressing area. Along
the gallery there is a bathroom with shower and an additional bedroom. These
chalet-style apartments leave nothing to be desired.

Facility
The professionally maintained resort facility located on the Gosten peninsula at Lake Walensee was opened in 2008 and serves its customers with culinary
diversity, extensive spa services and holiday feeling. The resort is characterized by its unique design and brings the elements of the lake and mountains skilfully
in line. All apartments are very close to the wing of the hotel and benefit from the amenities which we will introduce you to on the following pages.

CATERING
Allow yourself to be pampered by the culinary delights of the restaurants Pelagius, Montis, Grand Café and Tennabar.
Alternatively treat yourself to a glass of wine on the lakeside terrace or al fresco lounge bar and enjoy the glittering
stillness of the water.

A modern, Asian inspired spa oasis extending over 600 m2 with a spacious outdoor Jacuzzi and a relaxation area with
lake and panoramic views, a steam bath, Finnish sauna, infrared - sauna, various organic and herb saunas , Kneipp
baths , solarium, and a water massage bed leave your soul and body in a state of total relaxation.

MARINA
Boat enthusiasts can use one of the 33 moorings in the resort's marina with direct access to the lakeside terrace. As
an apartment owner you are entitled to one of these desirable spots. The Resort Walensee offers an extensive
network for sailing lessons or motorboat rentals.
SHOPS
Purchases for daily use can be made in the shop on the resort grounds. For the perfect sports equipment Intersport,
located on the ground floor of your property, will cover your every need.

In the summer you can benefit from a large range of activities in the vicinity as well on the resort
grounds.
HIKING AND CLIMBING
The fascinating mountain world opens up countless opportunities for hiking and climbing.
MOUNTAIN BIKE , BICYCLE AND E -BIKE
Embark on a 2-wheeled adventure over the various cycling and mountain biking trails. With the ebike, you can easily reach great viewpoints without getting out of breath.
CRUISES
The boat services on Lake Walensee offer a wide range of wonderful cruises.
SURFING
Several surf stations around the Lake Walensee will be happy to assist you in your first surfing
lesson.
BEACH SPORTS
Enjoy warm summer days by or on the lake at the outdoor pools at Lake Walensee.
SUMMER TOBOGGAN RUN AND CLIMBING TOWER IN IMMEDIATE VICINITY
The summer toboggan run and the climbing tower at Flumserberg are definitely going to increase

Winter
FLUMSERBERG
The Flumserberg ski resort is one of the most popular winter sport regions in Switzerland and
sparkles with 65 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes. Snow enthusiasts will benefit from widely
diversified sport facilities including the snow park, 19 km of cross- country skiing, snowshoe tours,
3 kilometres of toboggan runs, obstacle park, sleigh rides, dog sled rides and an ice rink. Combine
sporting activity with the peace and tranquillity afforded by the breathtaking mountain scenery.

PIZOL SKI AREA
The winter sports paradise Pizol is reached by means of modern 8-seater cable cars. Above the
villages Bad Ragaz and Wangs you can enjoy up to 40 kilometres of slopes with magnificent
descents in this traditional skiing area. Due to the excellent transport connections via motorway
and railway line, the ski area is especially popular with day trippers.
