SCRAMBLE
The main mission of the Buffalo Shotgun Scramble
is to raise funding for the Packs of Love program in
order to provide meals during the 2014-2015 school
year, while also raising awareness of Childhood
Hunger. Sadly, New Mexico has the highest rate
of Childhood Hunger in the nation, and this is
something Buffalo Oilfield Supply and Packs of
Love are aiming to minimize.

Packs of Love is a nonprofit organization fighting
childhood hunger in Artesia by providing backpacks full
of non-perishable food items to needy children K-7th over
the weekends when they may not otherwise be receiving
the proper nutrition. Packs of Love provides additional
food for the children on the program during any school
break including extended weekends, Thanksgiving,
Christmas, and Spring Break. A Summer Lunch
Program has also been created to make sure that the
youth of our community receive at least one meal a day
during the summer months.
Packs of Love, is a charity organized under the Greater Artesia
Foundation (a qualified Section 501 (c)(3) Federal E.I.N. 85-0248309)
62% of America’s teachers regularly see
kids who come to school hungry because
they aren’t getting enough to eat at home.
More than 16 million kids in America live in
households that struggle to put food on the
table – that’s 1 in 5 kids.
Only 1 in 7 kids who get free or reducedpriced lunches at school receive summer
meals.
Sadly, New Mexico has the highest rates of
childhood hunger in the nation.

This is a 2 day-1 night ALL-inclusive hunt for 1 person after
American Bison at the exclusive Champion Ranch in Colorado
