Dear Friend of Gladwyne Montessori,
Each year, the Gladwyne Montessori PTA hosts a community Gala as its largest fundraiser.
This year’s event, Oh The Places We’ll Go, will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at The
Please Touch Museum. This festive and highly anticipated evening will include a silent and
live auction, international dinner stations, dancing and will be attended by over 250
Gladwyne Montessori families. The Gala is attended by our school’s community, which is
comprised of professional families, business and local leaders, who reside in and around the
Main Line and Philadelphia area. Local press will again cover this incredible event.
We are writing to ask for your help this year. This year’s fundraiser will once again provide
financial scholarships to academically deserving students and will enhance academic,
athletic, and performing arts programs.
Your donation is indispensable to the success of our event. In addition, your gift represents a
chance for your business to say thank you to past clientele and to reach out to potential
future customers. Gladwyne Montessori families are made aware of, and regularly
demonstrate loyalty to, those businesses that contribute to our events. We hope you will
consider making such a donation this year.
Enclosed you will find our Auction Donation Contract. Please complete this at your earliest
convenience or go online to gladwyne.org/auctiondonation. There are several ways in which
your organization can participate and support this wonderful cause:
• Donate an item or service from your business for the auction
• Become a sponsor
In acknowledgement of your donation, your business will be identified in the auction catalog
and online on the Gladwyne Montessori website. Posting to Twitter and Facebook will also
increase marketing exposure for your company. As Gladwyne Montessori is a non-profit
institution, your donation will be tax deductible and a letter of acknowledgement for your
