The USA Premier Baseball 4th of July Firecracker
tournament has EXPLODED from its humble beginnings of
6 teams in 1995, and now an ever expanding national and
international event with approximately 220+ teams
battling for the Firecracker Classic Championships!
Known for strong competition, high visibility and
Championship title with additional berths to the winners make it a great team event you
won’t want to miss!!! Considered a “MUST ATTEND” by a large following of Coaches
Universities / Colleges and MLB Scouts. Team oriented showcase tournament with real
championships attracting the best teams and players around - check out the testimonials
and Big League Alumni…
That is what the tournament is really about, giving players a
chance to showcase their talents in an effort to reach the next
level… whatever that might be for them. We believe in our
youth and have a USA Premier Baseball College Scholarship
Program with $2,500 available for 4 deserving young men
based upon: Love of Baseball, Character, Academics and
Community Service.
Southern California is a hot bed of talent!!! Teams across the nation and internationally
come to pit their top teams against the best Southern California Teams. Just a sample of
one Orange County travel ball team’ talent, recently had 21 of their players (current and
alumni) including 2 first round picks chosen in this year’s MLB draft! USA Premier
Baseball Tournaments have proven to be a jumping off point for future major league

submit their information and then pass to the coaches looking to
pick up players – no guarantees, but will try to find a team if able.

guarantee your team will be seen. They know the teams / players that they want to watch. You will

They may not be seen - Many College Coaches and Scouts try to blend in and you may not recognize that they are
there. Parents / Fans - Please be respectful and do not approach the College Coaches / MBL Scouts as they are
there scouting and will approach the coach / players they are interested in – Thank you!
We cannot guarantee your team be covered - Depending upon your team’s and player’s ability, College Coaches
and Scouts know who they are looking for. If you make it to the playoffs, then there should be coverage by
College Coaches and Scouts. Remember, they may be watching and don’t want to be recognized.
Online Statistics – Use online score keeping software to help those at home follow the game. This is also a great
tool for others to watch live and/or review the game afterwards --- USA Premier Baseball has partnered with

FAQS - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHERE ARE WE PLAYING & WHEN IS THE SCHEDULE AVAILABLE?
Anywhere and Everywhere - Part of the unique "fun" of the tournament is that you get to play on
different College and High Schools fields throughout Orange County (majority) and some outer LA and
San Diego counties - you won't know which ones until the Schedule comes out that Monday before the
tournament. We try and have every team play on at least one college field during the tournament.
Sensitive to requests (absolutely NO guarantees) there are only a few that may entertained, e.g.,
would like to play in San Diego because of touring colleges and which may work as have San Diego
teams that would cut their travel down... Bottom line, this is a premier tournament, be ready to play as
scheduled and know that it is very intense putting together a schedule of approx 500 games - we
appreciate it! Here is the 2015 Schedule to get an idea of schedule/fields
COACHES / PARENTS / FANS
TRAVEL TEAMS: All the hotels are centrally located close to freeways and major attractions - your games will be within
approx 5 to 45+ minutes from any of our Approved Hotels. It truly will not matter which hotel you select from as the
schedules won't be available and there will be driving regardless.
This is a "Stay To Play" Tournament requiring the Coach / Players to stay at the Approved Hotels to be eligible to play (no
travel agent processing - contact hotel directly for booking). Have negotiate great deals and there are many reasons and

our team's ethics and conduct, just a reminder that it is imperative that we represent our team in the most positive
manner. Last year 2 teams were removed from the tournament due to behavior at a hotel and one for conduct at a
game. This is a premier tournament and we are excited to be part of it and showcase our team and players!

We truly value our out of town teams and have negotiated the very best hotel value closest to the fields and local
attractions, especially during the holiday period. Considered “Stay to Play” requiring all travel teams to use our Hotel
Partners to be eligible to play in the tournament. This helps keep the travel costs down for all, contributes to our USA
Premier Baseball Scholarship Program and provides various tournament services at the hotels.
Make Your Hotel Reservations As Soon As Possible - Will Sell Out Quickly!

Make reservation: Contact the hotel directly to make your reservation (Do not use a Travel Agency or 3rd Party to
book). If you are making a group of reservations for your team, please complete a

Important
 Book hotels early: Really appreciate each team helping ensure their reservations are
made early and closely manage the room list inventory and release un-needed rooms
before May 1st
 Room Rate Guarantee Cut-off Date: Room rates are guaranteed until June 5, 2015, as
long as rooms remain in the USA Premier Baseball’s Housing room block. After June 5,
2015 at 5:00 PM EST, hotel room rates and/or availability cannot be guaranteed. Book early for best rates and
availability!
 Guarantee: All hotels require a valid credit card to guarantee with each reservation request. This card will not be charged at
the time of making reservation. Hotel reservations may be charged one night's room and tax as early as June 5, 2015.
Wait List Policy
Should any nights of your desired stay be unavailable, USA Premier Baseball will work to obtain more rooms, and you will
be placed on a wait list. A confirmed reservation will be made for all available nights. Once rooms become available on
previously sold-out nights, you will be removed from the wait list, and an updated acknowledgment will be sent to you.

International Airport is the most convenient airport to the fields and
hotels. Owned and operated by the County of Orange, it is the only
commercial service airport in Orange County, CA. The airport is located approximately 35 miles south
