Diergeneesmiddel, vrijgesteld van registratieplicht, voor kooi- en
volière­vogels.
Bloedluis en mijt zijn voor vogels niet alleen lastig maar vooral ook
schadelijk voor hun gezondheid. Met de Beaphar Insectenstrip worden
vogels langdurig beschermd tegen dit soort ongedierte. De strip wordt
eenvoudig om het zitstokje in de vogelkooi bevestigd en heeft een
tweevoudige functie; de insecten worden gedood door rechtstreeks
contact met de strip of doordat ze met de vogel in aanraking komen, die
door de continue beweging over de strip de vrijgekomen werkzame stof op
het lichaam draagt.
Gebruiksaanwijzing: verpakking alleen openen als u de strip direct
daarna gaat gebruiken. Voor het bevestigen van de strip, met de wijs­vinger
de opening over de gehele lengte openritsen. Daarna de strip krachtig
uittrekken!
De Beaphar Insectenstrip is op twee manieren om het zitstokje te
bevestigen;
1. schuif de strip over het stokje,
2. klem de strip om het stokje.
Vervolgens de overtollige lengte afsnijden of eventueel verlengen met een
tweede strip.
Voor een optimale werkingsduur dient de strip, afhankelijk van de
bevuiling, elke 4 weken met een mesje schoongekrabt te worden. Daarna
de strip opnieuw oprekken. Door het schoonkrabben en oprekken wordt de
strip opnieuw geactiveerd. Belangrijk is hierbij geen water en/of reinigings­
middelen te gebruiken.
Veiligheidsaanbevelingen: de strip niet toepassen bij zieke en
zwakke dieren en/of bij aanwezigheid van nestjongen. Het product niet
combineren met andere insecticides. Na toepassing, handen grondig
wassen. Verwijderd houden van eet- en drinkwaren en direct contact met
diervoeder vermijden. Buiten bereik van kinderen bewaren.

The Beaphar Insect Strip provides birds with long-lasting protection from
these kinds of vermin. The strip is easy to attach to the perch in the
birdcage and has a dual function; it kills insects that come into direct
contact with the strip and it also kills insects that come into contact with
the bird, as the bird carries the active ingredient on its body due to its
constant movement over the strip.
Instructions for use: do not open the pack until you are ready to use
the strip. To attach the strip, tear open the pack over the entire lenght with
your index finger, then stretch the strip out forcefully.
The Beaphar Insect Strip can be attached to the perch in two ways:
1. slide the strip over the perch,
2. clasp the strip around the perch.
Cut off the excess lenght, or use a second strip if extra lenght is required.
In order to ensure that the strip retains its effectiveness for as long as
possible, it should be scraped clean with a knife every 4 weeks, depending
on the extent of solling.
It should then be stretched out again. Scraping clean and stretching serves
to reactivate the strip. However, it is important to use no water or detergent
for this.
Safety recommendation: do not use the strip for sick or weak birds or
in the presence of nestlings. Do not use the product in combination with
other insecticides. Wash your hands theroughly after handling. ~Do not
store in the vicinity of food and drink, and avoid direct contact with animal
food. Keep out of the reach of children.
