Playful Pairings
Spring is here and summer is just around the corner.
There is no better wine for this time of year than Nakd
Pinot Gris. This light and refreshing wine hits you with a
full frontal blast of soft fruit and finishes crisp and easy.
We like it paired with spicy sushi rolls, any Asian cuisine, a
cold summer salad or while chillin' on the porch on a hot
summer day.
Winemaking Update
I'd like to introduce the most
recent addition to the Nakd
Winemaking Team - Alaina
Waller. Alaina is a Hood River
native and was raised on a
small local vineyard called
Pine Grove Vineyards. Alaina
went to Oregon State where
she studied viticulture and
onology and spent time
working for E.J. Gallo Winery as well as Hogue Cellars. We

The first photo is our winemaker Peter and I at
Taste Washington hanging out with Keith from Corfini
Cellars. The middle photo is from our March bottling
of 2012 Nakd Merlot. We hand bottled about 215
cases of Merlot in one day. If you haven't tried this
wine yet, I highly recommend it. The last photo is
from the Portland Grand Tasting. That's Peter giving
one of our fans a Nakd tattoo! If you have any
