Morning arrival in Novosibirsk. Meet your guide and transfer to Marriott Hotel Novosibirsk 5*. Free time till
afternoon, followed by lunch at Siberian tavern and Novosibirsk city tour with the main attractions of the city.
Choose your evening activity between the following options:
- A traditional Christmas-time Nutcracker ballet performance at the Opera House of Novosibirsk
- Visiting Banya-SPA (Russian Sauna) with samovar tea drinking.
- Visiting a folk center for interactive Russian folk program
- For groups only: Masterclass of Siberian pelmeni cooking / or matreshka dolls painting

31 December
Full day winter activities: 3-horses slides near Academgorodok. Lunch in Akademgorodok
Afternoon options: Ice skating on ice stadium / or visiting Novosibirsk Zoo, the biggest after the Ural Mountains and
located in the picturesque forest park.
Evening transfer to hotel to get prepared for the New Year party. Light dinner on your own, if needed.
23:00 – New Year Eve celebration in restaurant “Nebo” (Sky) on the 25th floor building (one of the tallest buildings of
Novosibirsk with the amazing panorama). At Midnight, you will see great fireworks, and DJ will not let you get
bored until morning. Optional meeting the New Year at a hospitable Siberian English-speaking family.

Free morning.
13:45 - Transfer to the Novosibirsk train station with guide. Departure to Irkutsk by Transsiberian train # 008 at
14.29.
02 Jan
Arrival to Irkutsk 20.57h. Meeting with driver and transfer to Listvyanka settlement on lake Baikal (66 km, 1 hr)
Accommodation in Krestova Pad hotel. Dinner with champagne and overnight.
03 Jan
Breakfast. Trip to Riding Centre in Listvyanka. You will experience Baikal Lake to the full. Husky and snowmobile
riding in Siberian forest (distance - 20 km). During you lunch, you will enjoy fresh smoky omul fish (Baikal specialty),
caviar pancakes with Russian vodka and mulled wine.
In the afternoon, observe a beautiful winter Baikal from the top of Cherky Stone. Optional: snowboarding with
instructor. In the evening, Russian banya with veniki and tea.
Dinner at hotel.
04 Jan
After breakfast, excursion to the Open-air architectural ethnographic museum Taltsi on the way to Irkutsk. Custom
ceremonies, folk performance, snow fighting, lunch in Siberian Traktir – what can be better!
Afternoon trip to Buryat village Ust-Orda (62 kms to North-East from Irkutsk) with traditional Buryat performance,
mysterious shaman session and visiting local museum to get to know what the difference between Mongolian and
Buryat ethnic groups is. Visit Datsan. Dinner at restaurant Metelitsa (with traditional food called “boozy”).
Return to Irkutsk, accommodation in hotel Courtyard by Marriott.
05 Jan
Breakfast, followed by Irkutsk City tour.
Transfer to the airport and depart from Irkutsk by domestic or international flight.

Yakutsk – Khandyga – Oymyakon – Tomtor – Khandyga – Yakutsk
Discover the Pole of Cold in this soft adventure tour! Travel to the World’s Coldest Inhabited Place – Oymyakon,
located in the Eastern part of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). The Pole of Cold is in the Republic of Sakha, also known
as Yakutia, in the remote north east of Russia. The village Oymyakon, in the Oymyakon valley, is surrounded by high
mountain ranges which prevent warmer air from getting into the valley, making it extremely cold in the winter. The cold
air cannot leave the valley and collects there for several months. There, middle January temperature is –50,0°C.
Sometime it drops down to -68°C. The lowest negative temperature of -71.2°C was recorded there in 1926.What does
the place with such a cosmic temperature look like? How do people and animals survive? What happens with equipment
and machinery? To understand this one should visit the Pole of Cold. It is something to do at least once in a life-time.
1 DAY
Arrival in the early morning to the airport of Yakutsk
Transfer to hotel TYGYN DARKHAN***. Breakfast at the hotel.
Sightseeing program in Yakutsk, including guided tour to the Treasury of Yakutia . Visit to the complex YtykKhaya, national traditional ritual of blessing Algys, visit to the complex Chochur-Muran where you can try out riding
in the dog sleds (2 persons per sled). Visit to the Kingdom of Permafrost arranged in the glacier insides of the
mountain located just next to Chochur-Muran. Lunch at the complex restaurant (Yakut cuisine). Return to the
city. Shopping of the equipments. Dinner at the restaurant (Local cuisine). Night at the hotel.
2 DAY
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Khandyga by 4WD minivan (appr.400 km, 8-10 hrs). We will cross the Central part of Yakutia and the
Lena river and its right inflow the Aldan river. Hot meals in field conditions (in the car).
Accommodation in small private hotel at Khandyga. Dinner at the hotel.
3 DAY
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer for the Oymyakon (appr 500 km ) along famous “Kolyma road” constructed by
GULAG prisoners . Magnificent landscapes, great mountains, fast rivers, and vast reindeer pastures etc. At
Vostochnaya meteostation – a lunch with lunch boxes. Arrive in Oymyakon late in the evening. Accommodation in
the family house. Here you will have opportunity to experience the conditions locals live in (there is no drainage
system in the houses, so all the inhabitants use outside WC facilities). Dinner and night in Oymyakon (in rooms for 23 persons)
4 DAY
Breakfast at the family. Excursion around the Oymyakon. Visit to the Mayor of Oymaykon, receiving the certificates
of visiting Pole of Cold. Visit to the horse-breeders. Acquaintance with their life, possibly horse riding. Lunch in the
family. Under ice fishing in the Indigirka river. Dinner at the family. Banya (Russian sauna) is available for additional
payment. Overnight in the family house.
5 DAY
After a late breakfast at the family, have fun participating in the short but very entertaining programme – make
diverse practical experiments on the effects of cold & frost. Transfer to Tomtor village (appr.35 km) .
Accommodation in the small private hotel. Lunch at the hotel. Visit to the Winter houses of Chyskhan (the symbol of
Cold). Visit to the local museum with an exhibition and the history of the GULAG. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in
hotel.
6 DAY
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Khandyga (about 450 km). Lunch with lunch boxes in the car. Arrival in Khandyga
late in the evening. Accommodation in the hotel.
7 DAY
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the Yakutsk.
Hot meals in field conditions (in the car).
Arrival to Yakutsk, accommodation in hotel Tygyn Darkhan. Souvenir shopping. Farewell dinner at the restaurant
8 DAY
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Departure from Yakutsk
