Both tools give exact-fitting cuts that ensure maximum cambial contact. The result is a strong, neat graft that takes quickly. They are
faster and more accurate than a skilled grafter with a knife. A whole
range of wood plants can be grafted, including grapes, kiwis, avocados, nuts, persimmons, pome fruits, stonefruits and many ornamental trees and shrubs.

Phytech-50 is a natural blend of lanolin and waxes. Lanolin has been
demonstrated as an effective nontoxic barrier to pathogens and will
not inhibit the process of wound
healing in woody plants. It supports
the tree’s callusing process in the formation of new phellogen (bark cambium) at the wound site. Also use
Phytech-50 for grafting on divided
orchids and to plug injection sites.
Unlike plastic strips and tapes that must
be manually removed, these budding
strips are ozone degradable, and the
natural rubber composition allows them
to disintegrate after the graft is made.
While in use, they efficiently exclude air,
maintain a firm but gentle contact and
have the added advantage of being both
quick and easy to apply.

Steel edging is a long term investment in a landscape installation. Weed-eater proof, lawn mower resistant, unaffected by UV light or extreme
temperatures; steel edging is the most permanent bed divider available without pouring concrete. All edging is painted green, infrared heat
baked for durability. Can also be formed into circles for trees or other circular planting beds. 2-10’ lengths will form approximately a 6’ diameter
circle.
• There are two thicknesses available:

excess algae and muck on the bottom
• If pond or lake water is intended to be used to irrigate, algae
buildup can create clogging in water pumps, filters, and other
water handling equipment and in water lines and irrigation nozzles

Gophers
Description: Burrowing rodent that can be 6-10” long with large-clawed front paws; fine, short fur, small eyes and ears.
Attracted to: Garden crops & ornamental plants as well as irrigation lines.
Damage Signs: Crescent or horseshoe shaped mounds of soil with the hole off to one side of the mound, which is usually
plugged. You will most likely not see the burrows because they are further underground than moles.
Moles
Description: Cylindrical bodied mammal with slender, pointed snouts and short, bare, or
sparsely haired tails. Their limbs are short and spade like.
Attracted to: Fertile, moist, sandy loam soils that contain insects, grubs, worms, snails and
beetles to feed on.
Damage Signs: circular, burrows just beneath the surface; in profile they are volcanoshaped. Typically you will find only 1 mole/tunnel, except during the breeding season, which
typically occurs during later winter - early spring.

Description: Mouse like rodents with blackish/grayish brown fur that when fully grown they can measure 5” – 8” long,
including their tail.

Ordering and acceptance of goods shall constitute assent to

ACCEPTANCE OF ORDER: We reserve the right to refuse
any order, with or without accompanying payment, until it has been
audited, approved, and accepted by an authorized representative at
Hummert International™’s main office in Earth City, Missouri, USA.
CONFIRMING ORDERS: Any order received at Hummert
International™’s main office that has not been designated as a confirming order will be treated as a new order. Any freight or other
expense incurred due to a confirming order not being so noted and
then duplicated, will be charged back to the customer.
PRICES: All prices are subject to change without notice. All orders
will be invoiced at the price in effect at the time of shipment.
PACKAGING AND HANDLING CHARGE: All merchandise
CLAIMS AND SELLERS LIABILITY: All claims for alleged
defects in goods or shortages shall be deemed waived unless made
in writing to seller within 10 days of receipt of merchandise by
buyer. Buyer shall afford seller prompt and reasonable opportunity
to inspect alleged defective goods. Seller liability shall be limited
to the replacement of any defective goods, which in no event shall
include buyer’s costs, lost profits or good will, or any other special

orders be at least $50.00 or more. Any order below this minimum

SHIPPING: All merchandise purchased from Hummert
International™ will be shipped F.O.B. our warehouse or shipping
point. Freight charges are collect and goods become the property
of the buyer upon acceptance of the goods by the buyer’s agent (by
the carrier) in good condition. The carrier is responsible taut buyer
for the complete and safe delivery of goods. We reserve the right
to make partial shipments, unless otherwise expressly stipulated.
All such partial shipments shall be separately invoiced and paid for
when due without regard to subsequent deliveries. It is the buyer’s
responsibility to file claim with the carrier, if the carrier fails to deliver
the goods complete and in good condition. Hummert International™
will be happy to furnish advice in filing claims upon buyer’s request.
Additional delivery fees may apply when delivering to residential
areas. Additional lift-gate fees may apply when delivering heavy or
exceptionally bulky items to sites without a loading dock.
PREPAID TRUCK FREIGHT: Customer requesting prepaid
truck freight which is later invoiced will be assessed an additional
$15.00 processing charge for this service.

Customers have up to 10 days to return Hummert stocked products with no restocking fee,
provided they obtain a Return Authorization Number from customer service. Defective items
also require a Return Authorization Number from customer service if a return is requested by
the manufacturer.
After 10 days, there is a 20% restocking fee. We must request that merchandise be
RETURNED PREPAID and in RESALABLE CONDITION, for a merchandise credit to be issued,
less the original shipping and handling. After 45 days we will be unable to accept any returns,
due to the seasonal nature of our horticultural business.
Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of any grass, vegetable or flower seeds,
bulbs, or live plant material.
DROP SHIP PRODUCTS ARE SUBJECT TO THE VENDOR’S RETURN POLICY AND MAY
EXCEED 20% RESTOCKING CHARGE PLUS FREIGHT. Therefore, the return policy for drop
ship products is separate from Hummert’s return policy for stocked products.

Shipments outside the continental United States have special terms,
conditions & pricing schedules. Our International Department will
generate a pro-forma invoice to serve your shipping and banking requirements. If you are interested in obtaining a quotation
on horticultural or agricultural products, please contact Hummert

to submit a quotation for your international needs.
DOCUMENTATION: Documentation such as commercial
invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, shippers export decs, air
or ocean bills of lading and ( SGS Inspection, when required ) will
be sent both directly to you at time of shipment and to your freight
forwarder, or broker. An extra fee will be added to your pro-forma in
cases where documentation must be legalized by a consulate.
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALES: Payment in advance
is required for all International orders, and can be made by check,
money order, or wire transfer to Hummert’s U.S. Bank. Irrevocable
confirmed letters of credit, advised thru a U S Bank, and Payable
at Sight are also accepted. Credit cards are accepted only upon
approval of Hummert’s credit department. Hummert International is
an approved supplier to the United Nations Development Agency,
USAID, and World Bank Projects.
LIMITATION OF WARRANTY — HUMMERT INTERNATIONAL™
gives no warranties express or implied, including the
warranties of MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AS TO ANY ITEM IT SELLS, except
as otherwise expressly given by the manufacturer of a particular item. Purchaser agrees that the limit of liability of
the Company of all claims for loss or damage due to any
cause shall not exceed the invoice price of the goods. IN
NO CASE SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OR
DAMAGE TO A CROP OR FOR ANY OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL
OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES.
PACKING & CRATING: All items will be packed for export
according to sound shipping practices. Crating, palletizing and special markings will be charged an additional export packaging charge
based upon the commodity shipped.
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS: Hummert International complies
with IATA & IMDG, for all shipping regulations regarding Hazardous
Materials. Hazardous products can be shipped via ocean freight with
proper crating, however due to the hazardous nature of most products they cannot be shipped via air.
PRO-FORMA INVOICES: Each Pro-forma Invoice is quoted per
your request: Ex Works, F.O.B, any U.S. Port of Exit, C & F or C.I.F.,
either by air, ocean or both if requested.
MARINE INSURANCE: Hummert International maintains a
marine insurance policy for all shipments made by air or ocean
outside the continental United States: we will be glad to insure your
shipment for 110 % of the commercial Invoice value.

Shipments
UPS Ground combines reliable ground service with on-line tracking
for shipments to and from any address in the 48 contiguous states. We have found that shipping UPS is generally the best method, providing certain requirements can be met as listed under UPS Ground. Some products cannot be shipped UPS due to their size or hazardous nature.
Determine the dimensional weight.
Round up any fraction of a pound to the next whole pound.
To determine if the package is subject to dimensional
weight: measure the length, width and height of the package
at its extreme points. If the package has a bulge or is irregularly shaped, include the bulge or irregular aspects of the package.
Multiply the package length by width by the height. The result is the
cubic size in inches. For UPS ground shipments – if the cubic size of
the package in inches is 5,184 or larger, divide the cubic size by 166
to determine dimensional weight of the package
Compare the packages actual weight to its dimensional weight. The
greater of the two is the billable weight and should be used to calculate the rate If you have any questions on UPS charges please ask

fter driver leaves, check all merchandise within shipping containers for any concealed damage. If damage is found, contact
the delivery carrier immediately to arrange for inspection. This
will be necessary should you need to file a claim with your delivery carrier.

invoice you for the freight charges, however there is a $ 15.00 fee for

Third Party Bill: Hummert will ship the merchandise and bill your
account with the carrier that you specify. At time of ordering you
must specify the name, phone number and your account number
with that carrier.
