Party Dude!
•
Use Ocean Breeze Cardstock for base page.
•
Cut 1 of Surf & Turf paper to 4.25”w x 11.5”h. Trim
bottom edge to a banner flag shape. Adhere to left
page at center seam, aligned with top edge of
page.
•
Cut Bouquet Kisses paper to 9” high. Now cut that
piece into two pieces—the left piece is 1.5”w x 9”h,
the right piece is 10.5”w x 9”h. Place on either side
of Surf & Turf paper, about 3/4” from top edge of
page.
•
Cut the navy floral strip from Borders & Die Cuts
paper, trim on an angle to 11.5” wide, adhere
above bottom edge of Bouquet Kisses paper on
right page. Design Note! You received TWO sheets
of Borders & Diecuts paper. Please use one sheet
for cutting borders and one for cutting diecuts.
•
Crop photos and adhere to page as shown.
•
Cut a piece of white cardstock to 4x6 and adhere to
Surf & Turf paper.
•
Add scalloped chipboard border as shown.
•
Add embellishments, including a border sticker or
narrow strip of contrasting paper behind the title
stickers.

A relatively straightforward layout doesn’t have to be flat or dull.
The simple practices of layering your elements, and using dimensional adhesives, will give your projects a little extra “pop.”

Use 2 Kraft Cardstock for base
page.
•
Crop 4 photos to vertical 4x5 and
arrange in a block on right page,
centered evenly top and bottom.
(you may replace one of these
with a journaling box cut from
cardstock or one of the less busy
patterned papers)
•
Cut Love Notes (zig zag) Paper to
9” high with zig zags running horizontally. Now cut this into
two pieces, the large piece on the left page is 10”wide and
the small piece on the right page (to the right of the photos) is
2”wide.
•
Add a scalloped chipboard border to the right page.
•
Crop two more vertical photos to 4x5 and mat on white cardstock. Adhere to left page as shown.
•
Cut the “Love Story” journaling box from the other sheet of
Borders & Die Cuts paper. Design Note! You received TWO
sheets of Borders & Diecuts paper. Please use one sheet for
cutting borders and one for cutting diecuts. If the pink border
doesn’t go with your layout, cut it off like we did (actually, we
left a teeny tiny border for contrast). Adhere the journaling
box to the page with foam squares, for extra emphasis. In our
sample, the “love story” theme didn’t match, so we strategically covered that with stickers. Spell your title with letter
stickers.
•
Cut a scalloped chipboard border to about 6” long. Save the
piece you cut off. Place the long piece just under your journal/
title box. Place the short piece at the top of the photos on the
right page.
•
By hand, tear short strips of Designer Tape and place at each
outer corner of the zig zag paper. Next, apply long strips of
Designer tape at the top and bottom edges as shown. Try making tiny pleats in the tape as you lay it down.
•
We added a small amount of hand journaling along the bottom edge of the zig zag paper on the left page.
•
Embellish with chipboard stickers and buttons.
