The MCE QuickStream DV re-engineers the Digital Video professional’s
workflow by completely eliminating the inefficient, time consuming step
of capturing DV footage into your Mac or PC non-linear editing (NLE)
system. The portable, self-powered QuickStream DV captures your
DV footage on-the-fly, via your camera’s FireWire port, in your choice
of file-format (.MOV, .AVI2, .DV, etc.) while you are shooting! When
done shooting, simply unplug the QuickStream DV from your camera’s
FireWire (1394, i.LINK, etc.) port, plug it into your NLE system’s
FireWire port and begin editing your footage IMMEDIATELY.
