BUZZ
Spring
What comes to mind when you hear the word “Spring”? I’m not
talking about a part for a truck, I mean the season. For some, Spring
means seeing the first Robin in your yard or green budding on the
trees and bushes. How about the baby chicks for sale at your local
farm/home store? What about allergies, those itchy, watery eyes? Or
even of mud. Sound crazy? Yes, but those April showers we will be
getting will equal May flowers. After a very long winter, I think we
are all looking forward to Spring and warmer temperatures! Here
at RPM, we look forward to longer, sun shiney days, fresh air, and
being able to leave the doors open!
As the season changes, we find changes here at RPM. We’ve been
working on our website. Surf on over and check it out at www.rpmtruckrepair.com You can even schedule an appointment from our
website! Another change happening this Spring, is our invoices.
We’ve had several issues with our current software program, so a new
one is on the way!! Shawn has spent several weeks implementing the
software so it flows easier for Isaac and Andy. You will also notice
this change, as it comes with a new invoice look. The new invoices
are being sent out as I sit typing this newsletter. Look for them in
your mailbox today!
Hope all is well and THANK YOU for being our customer!
You’re #1 in our book!!
“We strive to be a step above the rest in the truck repair industry.
Why? Because we care! Fixing trucks, it’s what we do!”
We are GROWING!
(Again! Woo Hoo!)
The month of March has started off with a bang to our RPM family! We have added 2
new employees to our team.
From Shawn’s Desk
Should I go to the dealership or an independent shop for repair?
What is the difference? And what is best for my equipment?
OEM dealerships today are up on the latest technology and diagnosis on all new trucks. Technicians can be
harder to find for the dealerships, which means they may not be able to repair older units. Also most OEM
dealerships work on just what they are franchised for, which limits their abilities to compete in the market of
general truck repair.
Independent shops repair everything from a Freightliner, to a Ford to a Case backhoe. Most of your independent
repair shops have well rounded technicians that can and will fix everything that comes in the door. It comes
down to the relationship and trust you have in your repair shop.
I can personally say that keeping up with the latest in technology and software is tough however, we invest time
and money every day to keep us your #1 repair shop. We train our employees on different areas of repair every
day and month.
Interview your local repair shop and see how “up to date” they are on diagnostic software and tooling. That is
what it takes this day and age to fix these ever changing trucks.
Any questions or comments feel free to call me or email me at 217-347-7764 or
