I had so many offers to do vacuuming and cleaning I could have got the whole house spring cleaned and I am grateful for every offer. This meeting we elect a new committee and I would like to thank the outgoing committee who have all worked hard on your behalf. Your club would not run without the behind the scenes efforts of the committee. I am sure you will give the new committee all the support and encouragement that you have given to me. You are a terrific group of ladies and it has been a privilege to be your President for the last two years. Today we also have our Christmas lunch and although it is a little bit early, I wish you all a very merry Christmas and safe and happy New Year and look forward to next year when I may get the chance to stitch and chat a bit more.
