To begin 2016 we were blessed to give $9000.00 to missions and 10,000.00 to Trinity Camp. I am always amazed at how God blesses faithfulness, and He continues to use our church in a mighty way to support the work of God! I want to thank our ladies for all their efforts in helping to make this year’s conference one of the best ever. Jennifer Crowe RaShanda Riddle (+ choir direct.) FROM OUR YOUTH PASTOR When you look around in our world, it is not difficult to see that there are many things that are unpredictable. Whether it be dangerous storms, a failing stock market, or a concerning political scene, the one thing we can count on is that there is nothing on this earth you can really depend on! Psalm 32:7 reads, “Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.” No matter how hard the storms hit, how low the market drops, or how bleak the political horizon seems, one thing never changes. God is your shelter from the storm. He is your security when the money is low. Our Lord is the only King who keeps all His promises. God never changes, and that we CAN count on! Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church A church where the Gospel is preached and love abounds. 2491 Piney Grove Road Beaverton, Al 35544 (205) 698-8485 www.pineygrovefwb.com Our services are broadcast on TV 8 Sunday mornings at 8:00 AM serving Hamilton, Brilliant, Fayette, Winfield, & Belk. Also, on WJEC radio 106.5 Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM The Ten Commandments of Love Thou shalt put they mate before thy mother, thy father, thy son and thy daughter, for thy mate is thy lifelong companion. Abuse not thy body with excessive food, tobacco, drink, or an foreign substance that goeth into thy arm or up thy nose. Do not forget that cleanliness is a virtue. Permit neither thy business nor thy hobby to make thee a stranger to thy children, for the most precious gift a parent can give his or her family is TIME. Make not a beggar of thy mate. Willingly share with him or her thy worldly goods. Forget not to say, “I love you”. For even though thy love may be constant, thy mate doth yearn to hear those cherished words. Remember that the approval of thy mate is worth far more than the adoring glances of one hundred strangers, so cleave to thy mate and forsake all others. Keep thy home in good repair, for out of it cometh the joys of old age (not to mention its resale value). GOD’S VALENTINE GIFT God’s Valentine gift of love to us Was not a bunch of flowers; It wasn’t candy, or a book To while away the hours. He gave us sweet salvation, and Instruction, good and true— To love our friends and enemies And love our Savior too. His gift was to become a man, So He could freely give His sacrificial love for us, So you & I could live. So, as we give our Valentines, Let’s thank our Lord & King; The reason we have love to give Is that He gave everything.
