The Lord`s Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer
Jesus was praying and taught his disciples how to pray because they
didn’t know how to. He taught them the Lord’s Prayer. He showed all of us that God is
everyone’s father and we must respect, honour and love Him as we do our parents.
We show God how we feel about Him by praying. God listens to us when we pray, and he
helps us through all the difficult moments in our lives. Praying brings us closer to God.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,

Lord’s Prayer:
1Our Father who art in heaven,
CWe are all God’s children. He loves all of us unconditionally.

2 Hallowed be Thy name.
CWe have to keep God’s name holy.
3 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven
CJesus brought the message of God’s kingdom to us. We ask God
to help us obey Him so we can have His kingdom in our hearts.
4. Give us this day our daily bread,
CWe ask God to help us work so we can get our necessities.
We trust Him when He decides what’s best for us.
5. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
CWe ask God to forgive us our mistakes and to help us forgive others that
have also made mistakes.
6 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen!
CWe ask God to help us make good decisions when we are faced
with difficult situations.
