with others in a cooperative atmosphere, confidence and intellectual
development.
PA Jazz will showcase Lehigh valley Regional Jazz artists of distinction.
We will promote Jazz Awareness as an American art form. We will
continue to develop and implement Jazz education initiatives and
programs for all ages, musician and non-musician.
Some of the main topics of educational focus include: fostering
open-mindedness, stimulation of creative thought, enhancing problem
solving skills, instilling confidence to enhance all future interaction and
promoting discipline and team work.
PA Jazz focuses on the musical communication that is at the core of
Jazz, which is an expression of individuality and the spontaneous artistic
language spoken within the context of a democratic framework. We
are cognizant that Jazz performers and students draw upon multiple
educational and social disciplines to simultaneously interact in a manner
that uniquely ties together many educational disciplines and learning
