JUDO OPEN INTERNATIONAL VISE – BELGIUM-2016 30-31 JANUARY 2016 34rd edition of the INTERNATIONAL OPEN JUDO OF BELGIUM VISE – 2016 SINCE 1983 Dear Madam, Dear Sir, Dear participants, organizers and guests, Since 34 years, the Judo Open that takes place in Visé is the biggest tournament in Belgium. This tournament is a celebration of our discipline, not only on a national but also on a European and worldwide level. It’s been decades that it is organized before the famous Grand Slam of Paris but also just before the EJU training camp of Spa. This year, the training camp will take place from the 01 until the 4th of February 2016. In the perspective of the Olympic Games of 2016, there is no doubt that the INTERNATIONAL OPEN OF BELGIUM 2016 will host judokas and delegations from all over the world. A lot of judokas participated to this tournament before becoming famous amongst the judo world. Every nation and every judoka will have the opportunity, during this edition, to fight with the best competitors of Europe and from all over the world. In 2015, the organizers improved the technical conditions of the event by using electronic result tables and organizing the weigh-in and the final draw on the day before the tournament. Spaces reserved for judokas and coaches, conditions that we want to be optimal. From year to year, the organization tries to respect all the conditions of an EJU tournament, without losing the convivial character that makes part of the identity of the OPEN OF VISE. We would be very glad to host you during this quality judo weekend that is the result of a collaboration of the French speaking Judo Federation of Belgium, the City of Visé and the Royal Judo Club Visé.
