can rely on your partnership to provide quality care. You provide
positive alternative living options, often at times of crisis. You continually step up to meet
the needs of new residents in your homes.
While you provide care to meet the physical, spiritual, social and emotional needs of your
residents, you also operate a business, and balance a healthy personal and family life of
your own. For all this we thank you, and salute you.
P.S. As a result of careful stewardship of funds, our Agency is
adding a third permanent AFH Licensing Specialist position in
March. Details below.
~~~ Licensing Staff Notes ~~~
Many of you have had the opportunity to meet
over the past year and
a half as she visited your homes or helped you on the phone. Kelli has been in the Licensor
position as a temporary reassignment from the Quality Assurance and Improvement Unit.
February 28th will be Kelli’s last day with the Agency, as she takes a pause from working
outside her home to spend some time with her family. We have all benefited from Kelli’s
work and know her future will be bright.
Hello from
! I am delighted to be joining Tom and Katie as part of the
AFH Licensing team and look forward to meeting and working with all of you. I have been
at NWSDS for over 5 years, assisting units agency-wide on a variety of projects and
gaining a wide scope of knowledge to better serve our agency and communities. I have been involved in our Long Term Care Program, Information &
Assistance, and Adult Protective Services, as well as AFH Licensing, providing
dministrative and technical assistance. I am grateful for this opportunity and
excited about working with all of you!
