2016 media kit Print • Website • Email Newsletter A NOTE FROM THE PUBLISHER Dealer Marketing Magazine: 14 Years of Innovative Solutions Reaching the owner or general manager of new car dealerships in the U.S. is what we do. At Dealer Marketing Magazine, our focus is helping educate auto dealers about new innovations, and solutions for the challenges they face in their business. Dealer Marketing Magazine and DealerMarketing.com are not focused on day-today news. We think Automotive News does a great job with that. We are dedicated to helping dealers run their dealerships with educational content, how-to articles, and information on vendors that serve auto dealers. Many of our guest writers are the foremost authorities on their subjects in the automotive industry. We want to keep our dealer-readers up-to-date on the latest marketing innovations, and give a voice to new vendors that offer unique products and services. Many of our advertisers have been successfully using Dealer Marketing for years and can attest to the marketing power of reaching the decision-makers at new car dealerships across the country. Welcome to the Dealer Marketing Magazine and DealerMarketing.com 2016 Media Kit. We look forward to introducing your company to our readers. Sincerely, Brett Stevenson Publisher Dealer Marketing Magazine is focused on showing auto dealers the innovations, solutions, and vendors that can help their dealership succeed and grow. Dealers depend on the magazine to learn to better market their dealership and help them choose vendors to maximize profitability. They depend on our expert writers to explain new marketing techniques and technology—experts like you. Put simply, we are not an industry news publication; our focus is bringing auto dealers how-to articles from top experts in the industry. Magazine Digital marketing is growing, but many members of auto dealership management are old-school and print is still the most powerful way to reach these decision makers. Dealer Marketing Magazine is, however, growing its digital magazine base, offering each month’s magazine to subscribers a week before the print version reaches mailboxes. Website DealerMarketing.com is filled with cutting-edge information that dealers can put into practice in their dealerships. Our goal is to make DealerMarketing.com the best experience possible for our online readers, as well as create value for our vendor partners. We use Google Analytics, as well as AdSpeed.com, to track our traffic and provide our advertisers with accurate statistics on their impressions, clicks, click-through rates, and other relevant information. eNewsletters Banner ads are available on DealerMarketing.com’s two weekly e-newsletters (Dealer Marketing Weekly & DMM Tips), which go out to 17,000+ subscribers each every week. Our newsletters are intended to give dealers the valuable information they need right in their inbox. We use MailChimp to send out our e-newsletters and AdSpeed.com to track impressions, clicks, click-through rates, and other relevant information for the most accurate analytics available. Email Blast We do not sell personal information from our subscribers; however, we do allow a limited number of promotional emails to be sent to our subscriber base of 17,000+ email subscribers. Website Background Skin If you really want to make a huge impact online, a website background skin is what you need. With the website skin, our entire website is surrounded by your message with a clickable background that is perfect for a new product announcement, upcoming event, or just to maximize your online visibility. If you would like information about any of our advertising opportunities or an example of our online reporting, please email [email protected]. 2014 Mobile and tablet visitors increases year to year July 2011 - 5822 July 2012 - 13932 July 2013 - 39652 July 2014 - 91402 87 2013 Of subscribers find Dealer Mark useful for providing marketing 2012 2011 Dealer Marketing Magazine prompts action. 57% Personally receive the magazine and have taken at least one action in the past 6 months as a result of seeing an ad in the magazine.1 The average Dealer Marketing Magazine reader spend Dealer Marketing Magazine Readers Are Engaged 27 minutes reading or looking through typical issue.1 7 % The Dealer Marketing Magazine Digital Edition Is Booming In the six months since digital subscriptions began, the number of subscribers has increased at a 92 % month-over-month rate. keting Magazine ideas.1 e ds s ha Dealer Marketing Magazine Goes to the Decision Makers 68 % 70 % of Dealer Marketing Magazine subscribers are dealership owners, dealership principals, or general managers.1 of Dealer Marketing Magazine subscribers approve or authorize vendor choices for their dealership.1 The circulation of Dealer Marketing Magazine is more than doubled due to pass-along readership. If signed by Advertising Agency, the signatory binds Advertiser and Advertising Agency to joint and several liability for payment of all invoices rendered by Publisher and warrants that Advertiser has been made aware of and has agreed to its joint and several liability. Nothing in this agreement shall be construed to establish an agent-principal relationship between Publisher and Advertiser or Advertising Agency. All references in this agreement to Advertiser shall include and be binding upon Advertising Agency. A 15% discount to advertising agencies approved by Publisher will be allowed, provided that all artwork is prepared according to Publisher’s specifications and that all terms of this agreement (including payment within 30 days) and policies of Publisher are observed. If the advertisement is not ready to go directly to the printer when received by Publisher (i.e. it requires Publisher’s production department to make any changes whatsoever), this discount will not apply. New Advertisers are required to pay in advance for advertising charges and to complete a credit information form at least 10 days prior to closing date of requested issue. Upon approval of credit application, future invoices will be due within 30 days of the invoice date. After 30 days, a finance charge of 1.5% per month will be added to the unpaid, past-due balance each month. Advertisers with a delinquent balance may be required to pay in advance for future advertising. Any objection by Advertiser to an invoice must be made within 10 days of invoice date, or the invoice shall conclusively be presumed to be correct. Advertiser’s submission of an insertion order or the signing of a contract for advertising space is an acceptance of all rates, terms and conditions of the advertising rate schedule and associated policies. Publisher is not bound by any terms or conditions, printed or otherwise, contained in Advertiser or Advertising Agency contracts or insertion orders that conflict with Publisher’s current rate schedule or advertising policies. Agreements for twelve issues must be run in twelve consecutive issues. Agreements for three issues and six issues must be run within a year of this agreement, but are not required to be run in consecutive issues. Any advertising run outside of this one-year term shall not receive a discount and be short-rated and charged pursuant to Publisher’s cancellation policy.
