Parameters and Timing – Scanning Time QualityScan
ƒ The measured times may vary due to Windows properties
ƒ The “signal” green values are based on “rule of thumb” (number of
projections = detector pixel number multiplied by square root of 2)
ƒ Investigation not yet finished, but 5 frames integration in QualityScan
seems to be a good compromise between image quality and time

Parameters and Timing – Scanning Time Y.QuickScan®
ƒ The position precise Y.Quickscan® of the Y.Multiplex is very fast
ƒ The “signal” green value are based on “rule of thumb” (number of
projections = detector pixel number multiplied by square root of 2)
ƒ Acceptable CT slices (180° rotation, 180 projections) can be done with
a complete time of 18 seconds from start to “slice view ready” !!!
Note: Please never confirm scan-times and/or reconstruction times – especially with detail
visibility - in a contract without checking the application. The 18 seconds means: No center
displacement calculation, 512* 512 * 8 layer volume. Quality see image on later slide.
