Signed to read De Rouy. Of a couple at a river side; the woman fishing while
resting one hand on the shoulders of a man crouched and playing a flute.
Surrounded by three floral motif panels with gilt details. In a round rococo frame.
The back with a Sevres seal marked 1844 and with a seal to read Chateau des
Tuileries. D: 9 1/2 in.

The center roundel painted with a portrait of the famous Venetian Rococo painter Rosalba
