Parking
City of Perth Real Time Parking Information
Parking bay availability is available in “real-time” on the
City of Perth parking web site and parking app. Other
information includes, rates, locations and opening hours.
The City of Perth Parking App is available for Android and
iPhone devices.
On-Street Parking
The City of Perth Provides 15 minute (¼P) ACROD pick-up
and set-down bays, identifiable by blue lines and clearly
signed using the international symbol of access.
In non-ticketed parking areas ACROD permit holders are
able to park for twice the time specified on the parking sign.
For example, if the sign indicates one hour parking (1P)
permit holders are allowed to park for two hours at no cost.
The ACROD permit must be displayed.
In ticketed parking areas, the ACROD permit holder may
park for twice the time paid for, up to a maximum of twice
the time specified for that bay. i.e. in a bay marked 1 hour
the permit holder may pay for 1 hour and park for two
hours. These concessions do not apply to taxi zones.
clearways, bus zones etc.
For on-street parking information contact City of Perth
on (08) 9461 3888 or visit www.perth.wa.gov.au/visiting
7
City of Perth Car Parks
City of Perth car parks provide up to two hours free parking
for valid ACROD permit holders.
In car parks with Pay and Display ticket machines, permit
holders must purchase a ticket and display it on the
dashboard. This ticket will remain valid for a further two
hours after the expiry time has lapsed.
When parking in a multi-storey car park and issued with
a token/ticket at the entry boomgate, permit holders can
redeem their free parking by visiting the Customer Service
Office prior to exiting the car park. The Customer Service
Officer will need to sight the permit and collect any monies
owing for parking in excess of the two free hours the permit
holder is entitled to. If the car park is not attended, the
permit holder can obtain a refund for the free two hours by
sending their receipt and a legible copy of their permit to
Council House, GPO Box C120, Perth, WA 6839.
ACROD Permit holders parking in unreserved bays still
receive concessions if their permit is displayed. Accessible
bays are marked with blue diagonal lines and displaying the
international access symbol.
International and Inter-state disabled parking permits are
valid in WA for up to 3 months from arrival. For a longer stay
a WA ACROD permit must be obtained, contact:
