Simply Amish offers the following for televisions and components:
• TV stands - Designed to hold television components (DVD player, cable box, etc.).
The television itself sits on top of the unit.
• Game TV Consoles - Designed to hold video games/accessories. The TV sits on top.
• Widescreen Centers - A two-piece cabinet that houses most widescreen TVs.
Features storage space in the bottom cabinet and an open shelf across the top
portion.
• Wall Unit Entertainment Centers - Multi-piece unit that features a central twopiece cabinet to house most widescreen TVs. Two end units have additional storage
and display space.
• TV Cabinets - A one-piece cabinet that fits most standard televisions. NOTE:
standard TVs require more cabinet depth and height than flat screen TVs. These
cabinets are designed to meet those requirements.
• Corner entertainment Stands, Cabinets, Entertainment Units - Designed to fit
into the corner of a room.
a note concerning television sizes and measurements:
A TV screen measurement is determined diagonally from the bottom left-hand corner of
the screen to the top right-hand corner of the screen (not vertically or horizontally). This
diagonal screen measurement will be longer than the actual width of the TV. For example, a
50" TV is actually about 45-47" inches in width.
Always choose a TV stand that is wider than the actual width of the television.

Some Popular Options
To determine if any of these options are available on a style, check that style number in
the Price List.
• Two-Tone - Crown moulding, drawer fronts/doors, and the top and knobs in one
wood/color and the rest of the entertainment center in another wood/color.
• Speaker Cloth in Cabinet Doors - The wood panel on the fronts of the two console
cabinet doors will be replaced with black speaker cloth.
• Alternative Cabinet Arrangement - Provides more room for components. Three
drawers are positioned in the middle flanked by two cabinets with glass doors.
• Center Channel Flip Down Option - Ordered in conjunction with the above "Alternative Cabinet Arrangement." This option transforms the top drawer into a dropdown mesh channel door providing the perfect cover for a center-channel speaker.
Alternative cabinet arrangement
• Make the TV stand/console/cabinet wider - On some styles as specified in the Price
List, you can make the piece wider by one inch increments. The price listed in the
Price List is per inch (multiply the number of inches by which you are increasing the
unit by the price per inch).
On other styles, it is specified that you can increase the piece by either six
inches or nine inches only. In these cases, the price listed is for making
the total width change.

Some Popular Options (cont'd.)
• Bi-Fold Doors on Cabinets - Each door folds in half for better television viewing.
• Pocket Doors on Cabinets - Doors slide into the inside edge of the cabinet for better
television viewing. Two versions: Bi-fold Pocket Doors: Doors fold in half, then slide back. Note: bi-fold doors reduce the
amount of available interior cabinet space by nine inches.
Regular Pocket Doors are only available on our TV cabinets that are designed
to hold older style, standard televisions. An extra 6" of width is automatically
added to these cabinets when the Pocket Door Option is ordered.
• Open End in Component Tower - Allows inserting a glass pane—instead of wood—
into the outward-facing side of the component tower for better viewing of items on
display.

• Add Flat Panel Back Option - A flat piece of wood is inserted in the open TV area so
that a flat screen television can be mounted to it.
• Add Light System to Component Towers (Sides) - One light will be added to the
inside top of the unit.
• Take off the Doors on the Component Towers - For an open-shelving look. Note: the
price in the Price List actually gets deducted from the total.
• Substitute glass shelves for wood shelves in the Component Towers

Quality Reminder
Home entertainment units are made in all quality levels. It is one of the
areas in which inexpensive foreign made products are commonly seen.
• All Simply Amish drawers are constructed of solid hardwood.
• Drawer fronts and backs feature dovetailed joints to keep the drawers square for
years to come.
• Drawer boxes are made of solid wood, 5/8" thick. Try to find sturdier drawers
anywhere.
• Drawer interiors are sanded to a smooth finish to prevent damaging items placed
inside. • All drawer fronts up to 8.5" wide are made from a solid board, not multiple pieces of
wood glued together. This gives a fine, quality look with no distracting glue lines.
• All drawers include Smartslides, hardware that allows the drawer to fully extend for
easy access to the items inside. Smartslides also feature an advanced mechanism
that prevents the drawer from slamming shut by slowly pulling itself closed when
it's a few inches from the closed position.
• Smartslides are mounted underneath the drawer for maximum support and to better
display the craftsmanship of each drawer.
• Unlike cheap imitations, Smartslides are made in the U.S.A. and are by far the best
product of their type. That's why we use them.
Remember: Televisions and other electronic entertainment components
get frequent, hard use. Your customer should not sacrifice quality in their
entertainment unit.

Office Chairs
Our office chairs feature a standard gas lift for adjustable heights.
There is a 3-year warranty on the gas lift and all moving chair components.
Each office chair is available in four bases: Standard, Mission, Fluted or Country.
The later three are additional cost options.
