Birds were singing all around us – perfect!
Woodland Walks
Several years ago, a 70 acre area of
woodland was purchased and prepared for
the enjoyment of our guests.
The woodland now benefits from an
excellent network of wide waymarked paths
and tracks which will take you deep into the
beautiful Bittadon Valley on a 3 mile circular
route. You can see the woodland animals
in their natural habitat as you stroll along
the nature walk which starts and finishes on
site. Education and interpretation boards
will enhance your experience.
For those bold enough to explore away
from the beaten track there are endless
signs of wildlife to be discovered such as the
well worn badger runs or the less obvious
deer tracks. There may even be a sight of
these majestic creatures themselves, who
are frequent visitors.

there are currently five spacious,
amenity blocks each with a laundry
facility attached. There is also a separate
disabled and family area where even
more privacy is available. These facilities
are all of an excellent standard and a
high priority is placed on cleanliness,
as top marks in numerous official
assessments confirm. Our modern fifth
amenity block includes quality fittings
throughout, such as underfloor heating.

We recycle drinks cans and food
tins, glass, paper and glossy magazines,
plastics and cardboard.
We compact our cardboard and crush our
glass to reuse where possible on the site.
It is estimated that we recycle up to
10 tonnes of glass each year!

Anybody purchasing a caravan from
us is invited to stay onsite at Stowford
Farm Meadows, as our guest, for a
number of nights. When you arrive,
you will find your new caravan sited
on a pitch ready for you to simply walk
into. With the old van parked alongside
you can take your time moving your
belongings from your old van to the
new. When you are ready, we can return

A Booking constitutes a legal contract
We reserve the right:
•Once we have confirmed the booking you are
responsible for the total pitch fees.
•To refuse admission to the park and all facilities and
in such circumstances the contract is discharged.
•Cyclists are also expected to obey site speed limits
of 10mph.
•BB Guns, Catapults and similar are not permitted
on site.
•To remove any person (and property) who, in our
opinion, is not suitable to use the park, or whose
behaviour we consider to be detrimental to the
interests of our other guests.
CANCELLATION PLAN
No refunds are given, except under the terms of the
Cancellation Plan (see below).
•Tesco/Superstore home deliveries are not permitted to
Caravans on site.
•To alter, postpone or cancel any facility for reasons
beyond our control – we can only guarantee to do our
best to see that all facilities are available
as advertised.
We therefore cannot emphasise too strongly the
wisdom of taking up this insurance. £1 per night
premium to be sent with Booking Form and deposit.
We guarantee that this payment protects you up to
and including the day before your holiday commences
against loss of monies already paid (excluding
premium) due to redundancy, jury service, accident,
injury, illness or death of any member of your party
or close relation (supporting evidence e.g. Doctor’s
Certificate, Redundancy Notice) is required.
•We request that bookings are made in writing and
must be accompanied by the relevant deposit or
balance payment. We will accept telephone bookings
providing they are accompanied by credit/debit card
payment. We will not accept any responsibility for
errors arising from telephone requests. Cancellations or
booking amendments must also be notified in writing.
•Single sex groups are not accommodated.
•We do not accept commercial vehicles, migrant
workers, travellers or any type of converted transport
vehicle; and we may refuse entry to particularly large
caravans we deem to be unsuitable.
We may on occasions move a booking previously
allocated to a particular pitch, in order to make best use
of our pitches - this may occur even when a specific pitch
request has been received.
•Whilst we may accept a booking on payment of
a deposit, the balance of fees due on any stay are
payable at least 28 days prior to arrival. Should
any balance of fees owing not be received when
they are due we reserve the right to cancel the
holiday, discharge the contract and re-let the pitch
at our discretion.
Pitches are available from 12 midday on the day of arrival
and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
All late arrivals at the site (any time after reception has
closed) must park in the provided area for the night and
check in at Reception in the morning.
If a Tow-on has been requested, please ensure that you
arrive before Reception closes, in case your van has not
been towed out.
•Dogs accepted on condition that: They are on a lead
at all times, they are exercised in the signed “Exercise
Areas”. Any fouling is collected and disposed of and
they are never left on site unattended.
•Holiday amendments may incur an admin charge.
•The booking is accepted on the strict understanding
that persons under 18 years of age are not permitted
to drink or buy alcoholic beverages on-site. Persons
so found doing will immediately be expelled from
the park together with all persons occupying the
same pitch. Young people must bring some form of
identification to prove they are over 18 years of age if
they wish to drink alcohol on-site.
I am over 18 years, have read and agree to abide by all
park conditions and undertake to pay balance of fees
28 days before arrival date.
•We cannot guarantee pet free fields, although we
endeavour to keep one field free of Dogs.
•Children remain the responsibility of their parents,
guardians or the person signing the booking form at
all times.
Because of our policy of resting pitches at certain times
of the season to keep them in good order, some favoured
pitches may not be available in Low and Mid Season.
When requests for specific pitches are received we will
endeavour to accommodate them but must emphasise
that this is not always possible, particularly when the
bookings are for part weeks. Specific pitches cannot be
guaranteed and we reserve the right to allocate pitches at
our discretion.
•The park and all facilities are used entirely at the guests’
own risk. We will not accept liability in respect of any
person or property. This includes the laundry facilities
and battery charger.
All Cancellations must be made in writing and
accompanied by supporting evidence, BEFORE the
holiday commences. No refunds will be given for
amendments or days not taken.
•We do not permit the use of Electric Hook up splitters.
•We do not accept Go-peds (motorised skateboards)
on site.

Stowford Farm Meadows is a site catering for families and couples only.
We ask you to note and consider the following:
• Single sex groups are not accommodated
•Families are only accepted if the parents are prepared to supervise the
conduct of children and young people on site, particularly during the evening
and night hours.
•Parents must ensure that children under the age of 18 do not consume alcohol
on site. Young people must bring some form of identity to prove they are over
18 years if they wish to purchase alcohol, and the bars may be stewarded to
guard against under age drinking.
•The on site bars do not have a club licence and we do not wish to provide this
type of facility. The bars close at 11pm and we expect
the site to be quiet shortly thereafter. Parents are responsible for ensuring that
their children return to the caravan/tent promptly after the bars close.

•A unit may be supplemented by the use of
a child’s tent or by the presence of an extra
car - provided that the item has been booked
and paid for in accordance with the tariff on
the opposite page. However, two extra tents or
two extra cars or an extra tent and an extra car are not
permitted on one pitch.
Please Note:
Some of the extra facilities provided on site are charged for. It is not possible for us to run
these amenities at no extra cost. However, we endeavour to provide extra facilities at a
nominal fee and are sure that you will find these fees represent outstanding value.
Showers are FREE, however, the following are charged for:
