Campbell Caliper 10
18 cm long, a small sliding bone caliper for limb
bone breadths. Based on exclusive US patent
rights to the double sliding branch principle
invented by Mr. Robert Campbell. The Campbell
10 Caliper assures parallel measuring faces and
does not bind in applying firm pressure. The
caliper is machined from aluminum, satin black
anodized finish with contrasting white laser
engraved scale. A double serif zero indicators
provide for upper or lower scale orientation,
reading to 0.1 cm.
Tommy 2:
small bone caliper designed for the Entry Level
Professional (ELP).The caliper is machined
from aluminum, satin black satin anodized finish
with contrasting white laser engraved scale,
reading interpolated to nearest 0.05cm,e.g.,
7.00, 7.05, 7.10, 7.15, 7.2 cm. An inverted ìTî
sliding branch assures smooth operation with no
binding upon the application of firm pressure. It
is claimed to be the second best caliper of its
type on the market, next to the Campbell 10.

Campbell Caliper 20:
54 cm long, for obtaining torso breadths,AP depths and other diameters. It has the patented double-sliding branch feature that assures parallel measuring faces without bind.
The caliper is machined from aluminum, satin black anodized finish with contrasting
white laser engraved scale. The Campbell Caliper 20 replaces the traditional anthropometer and widespreading caliper for breadths, AP chest depth and other diameters. Serif
zero indicator provides for reading to 0.1 cm.
Segmometer 3:
for direct segmental lengths and projected heights from a measuring box (not included).
The segmometer consists of a base pointer and a sliding pointer on a flexible 105 cm
tape. The Segmometer 3 replaces the traditional anthropometer for length measurments.
Indicator permits reading to 0.1 cm.

3 meters, 7 mm wide, flexible steel, black scale on yellow, adapted with patch zero interface and small filed passage notch, fully retractable without button device, an ìidealî
anthropometric tape.
Slim Guide Skinfold Caliper:
Has similar dynamic action and produces technical errors of measurement as low as calipers costing ten times as much. Made from high impact ABS plastic, the caliper can be
dropped without damage. Accuracy to interpolated 0.5 mm, jaw pressure 10 g per sq
mm, range of 0 to 85 mm, the caliper meets requirements for scientific and professional
use.

Stadiometer:
A portable headpiece and accompanying 110
cm retractable metric tape for obtaining stature
and sitting height and arm span. It is used to
permit an assistant to make a mark on paper
attached to a wall. Measurement is from a 110
cm line on the paper to the initialed mark. The
practice of marking stature of small groups at a
time and measuring subsequently is an efficient procedure. Cost includes headpiece and
110 tape.
O-Scale Physique Assessment System (Course 2000 Series): A and W ratings, raw
score summaries and a proportionality profile for eight skinfolds, ten girths, two breadths
and four skinfold-corrected girths for children and youth yearly age 6 to 17, 18 and 19,
and in five year increments thereafter to age 70 (based on 22,000 subjects). The Course
2000 Series comes with instructional files and a comprehensive proforma with Excel file
with algorithms to compute technical error of measurement and percent technical error of
measurement for triple entries for each item. This is a simplified version of a feature in
the AMPlaní97.
Centurion Instrument Carrying Case: black and gray Cordura protective case, with
cut-out receptacles for instruments. Designed for lightness by a style winning case
maker the carrying case has a polypropolene side handle and an end handle for hook
storage or hanging as an airline flight bag.
Fiberglass anthropometric tape: an entry level professional tape that permits similar
precision to that obtained by the adapted steel tape. A button must be taped depressed
to make the tape-fully retractable.
Weight scale: A&D, portable, strain gauge, digital, metric, or pounds, mid- price range
scale for field studies. Rosscraft sets for your latitude and altitude.

The Centurion Kit with a weighing scale (extra, see item 11) will support various multiple
line data assembly protocol as in SOKIP (South American Soccer Championships in
Uruguay) and HAGKIP (Havare African Games Kinanthropometric International Project,
Professional Hockey Players (Several Teams), Olympic Weight Lifters (Edmonton), Inner
City Obesity Project (Philadelphia), Longitudinal Study of Gymnasts (Western Washington University).
A typical six station deployment of personnel:
1. Entry Station (identification, marshaling, marking, checking)
2. Basic Four (stature, body weight, sitting height, span)
3. Lengths (projected and derived lengths)
4. Breadths (torso breadths, foot length, limb breadths)
5. Girths
6. Skinfolds
Each station obtains triple series of measurements. Criterion anthropometrist and associate at Station 1, re-measure subjects as time permits to check for ìsystematic differencesî. Median values used as best estimates
