What is it?
This service enables the trading community to submit declaration
data electronically to the Customs and Excise Division and other
government departments including the Chemistry, Food and Drug
Division (CFDD), Animal Production and Health Division, Plant
Quarantine Division, the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards
(TTBS) and the Ministry of Trade and Industry (Trade Licence Unit).
The Customs and Excise Division manages the clearance process for
goods entering Trinidad and Tobago. In order to import cargo into
the country, a licensed Customs Broker must be hired to clear the
goods. Customs and Excise requires that all goods be declared
correctly to enable smooth processing and clearance of goods. The
TTBizLink e-Goods Declaration Module provides an interface that
enables Brokers to prepare the Customs Declaration form (Single
Administrative Document) before they submit it to Customs.
