Rules & Eligibility
[ 1 ] Contest is open to persons 17 years of age and older and a legal Alaskan resident. A parent or guardian
of any participant who is a minor must be present to sign a release on behalf of the minor to be eligible
to receive a prize, but contest judging reserves the right to refuse to award a prize to or on behalf of any
minor. No purchase necessary to win. High school diploma or GED required. Employees of Ohana Media
Group, Denali Media Holdings, GCI, Alaska Career College employees or students and employees of other
employees radio or television stations in the Anchorage market are ineligible to participate in contest.

2 $10,000 SCHOLARSHIP GIVEAWAYS
[ 2 ] Eligible entries will be based on school admissions requirements verified with appointment with Alaska
Career College admissions department and essays written. An eligibility certificate or letter must be
attained through Alaska Career College to verify student meets normal admissions requirements.
Contestant may call ACC at 563-7575 to schedule an appointment or will receive a call within 48 hours of
entry. Essays require 250-500 words. Entry portion of contest ends Wednesday, May 1st, 2015 at 6pm.
Odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries received. Winner will be selected by Ohana
Media Group, Denali Media Holdings, and Innovate Solutions from all eligible entries.
[ 3 ] One entry per person for the contest. The first chronological entry becomes the solo entry upon
eligibility being met.
[ 4 ] Grand Prize(s) consists of two individuals receiving a $10,000 credit(s) to Alaska Career College for cost
of tuition and class materials for any Alaska Career College Program and an iPad from GCI. One additional
finalist will receive prizes consisting of an iPad from GCI and $200 worth of prizing from Ohana Media
Group. All prize(s) are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. Registered
contestants must be available for the awarding of the prize on Tuesday, May 19th, 2015 before 12 noon.
Finalists will be called prior to confirm availability. Failure to collect prize constitutes forfeiture of the prize.
If a winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified, Ohana Media Group and Denali Media Holdings reserves
the right to determine an alternate winner or to not award that winner’s prize.
[ 5 ] Prize winner(s) must register with Alaska Career College, with intention of using scholarship, no later
than November 19th, 2015 and must begin attending program no later than May 19th, 2016 or will
forfeit the prize. Prize cannot be applied to any current or formerly enrolled student of Alaska Career
College or the former Career Academy. Winner will be required to sign a release form before prize award
is official. Failure to do so will forfeit all prizes. Winner’s Social Security number is required to claim certain
prizes. Winner is responsible for applicable taxes.

[ 6 ] All entrant participation in this contest is voluntary and acknowledges that Ohana Media Group, Denali
Media Holdings, GCI and any other participating sponsors are not responsible for any liabilities arising
directly or indirectly from the award or use of the prize.
[ 7 ] Winner grants Ohana Media Group, Denali Media Holdings, GCI, Innovate Solutions and Alaska Career
College irrevocable consent in perpetuity to the use of the sound recordings, photographs, video footage
and illustrations taken during or in connection with the contest, in any
and all applications including but not limited to advertising, commercials,
promotion, stories, text, articles, illustrations, copy, and commercial
exploitation, in any and all media forms at any time without the winner’s
further knowledge or consent.
[ 8 ] Non-Compliance with rules by winner(s) may result in the forfeiture of
prize(s). The decision of Ohana Media Group, Denali Media Holdings, GCI
or Innovate Solutions (promotional company) is final. By participating,
person(s) agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges and the official
contest rules. Ohana Media Group will provide the $10,000
scholarship(s) to two individuals.
[ 9 ] OHANA MEDIA GROUP, DENALI MEDIA HOLDINGS, GCI and
INNOVATE SOLUTIONS, reserves the right to revise these rules at any
time.
[ 10 ] KFAT 92.9 and Wolf 96.3 are owned by Ohana Media Group. KTVA11 and GCI are owned by Denali Media
Holdings.
